Abstract:
A masking agent is applied as a patterned film 12 to a surface of piezoelectric material 11 to be processed, fluidized by contact with a solvent vapor V and dressed to a domed mask 14 by its surface tension. When the piezoelectric material is dry etched together with the domed mask 14, its surface is processed to a convex profile corresponding to thickness distribution of the domed mask 14. Distribution and shape of the domed mask 14 is controlled by treating the piezoelectric material 11 with an oil repellant 13 so as to limit reflow of the masking agent to a specified region(s). The processed piezoelectric material has a surface profile with a big mass at its center suitable for principal oscillation without spurious oscillation.
Abstract:
After a resist mask with a predetermined thickness profile is overlaid on a piezoelectric substrate, the substrate is shaped to an objective three-dimensional configuration by dry etching process using an etching gas with a differential etching rate between the piezoelectric substrate and the mask. The thickness profile may be given to the mask by reflow of masking material or by compression with a precision stamp. The substrates can be shaped to a three-dimensional configuration corresponding to an amplified thickness profile of the mask by compositional control of a reactive gas during dry etching. Since the piezoelectric material is accurately shaped to an objective form without defects, high-quality elements and devices are provided.
Abstract:
A piezoelectric element is manufactured by applying a masking agent to a surface of a piezoelectric material to form a film of the masking agent on the surface of the piezoelectric material. The film of the masking agent is patterned into a masking pattern. Oil repellent is selectively applied to surface portions of the substrate which are not covered with the patterned film. The patterned film is held in contact with a vapor of a solvent for the masking agent, diluted with an inert gas, to fluidize the film to a domed shape on the surface of the piezoelectric material. The diluted vapor is formed by bubbling the solvent with the inert gas. The dome-shaped film is then cured and the piezoelectric material is dry etched together with the cured film to process the piezoelectric material into a three-dimensional convex profile corresponding to the thickness distribution of the domed shape.

An intelligent module pipeline, an intelligent module helical pipeline winding machine and a winding method thereof. In the cross section of the pipeline, a plurality of intelligent modules (1) are clamped and helically wound end to end to form a circular pipeline; each of the intelligent module units is an arch-shaped module which is formed by injection molding or compression molding; the each intelligent module unit is provided a reinforcing rib structure inside, a fixing device for fixing and clamping from left to right on the side surfaces, and a clamping device for fixing and clamping end to end at the edges. An arc-shaped chute rail is provided on the front surface of a working panel of the winding machine; the arc-shaped chute rail is provided with at least one pair of feed rollers (107), and is further provided with a locking device (108) and a parallel twisting device (106); the same intelligent module units are arranged end to end on the arc-shaped chute rail, and then are locked by means of the locking device, to form a semicircular pipe diameter by means of the feed rollers; then the parallel twisting device twists the semicircular pipe diameter in parallel to change the winding rail; and the intelligent module units are wound in a staggered arrangement to form helical winding pipelines.
Abstract:
A method computer implemented method of minimizing connections in a distributed system includes traversing paths in a directed graph representation of the distributed system having a fixed set of paths between nodes representing resources of the distributed system and edges representing connections between the resources by performing a random walk procedure to provide a reduced number of paths in the directed graph representation, and identifying excessive connections between the resources by simulating a client accessing the resources and identifying as excessive, connections that are not used by any of the reduced number of paths, wherein the excessive connections are removable from the distributed system without preventing client access to resources in the distributed system.

Method to transport HTPP over XMPP, including: forming a first two-level URI template to identify web resources accessible by use of HTTP in an XMPP network, wherein a first level is XMPP-formatted and a second level is HTTP-formatted; binding HTTP to XMPP and stanzas; transmitting the HTTP messages in those stanzas; receiving a HTTP messages in those stanzas; and a XMPP mechanism to discover if an XMPP entity supports transporting HTTP over XMPP.
