摘要： A cleaning device is provided with a cleaning unit (35) disposed downstream from a position at which a toner image is transferred to a paper. The cleaning unit (35) is provided with a cleaning blade (35c) for scraping off residual toner attached to an image bearing member and a toner catching sheet (35e) for preventing the residual toner or paper dust which have been scraped off from falling outside the cleaning unit. The free length in the toner catching sheet (35e) between affixed positions of a first end portion which is affixed to the cleaning unit (35) and a second end portion which abuts an outer circumferential portion of the image bearing member is determined by an amount of paper dust buildup on the outer circumferential portion of the image bearing member.

摘要： A two-side image forming apparatus of the present invention is provided with a first sheet-transferring path, for use in one-side image formation, for transferring, to a printed sheet storage section via an image transcribing section, a sheet supplied from an unprinted sheet storage section; and a second sheet-transferring path, connected to the first sheet-transferring path, for supplying a tuned-over one-side printed sheet to the image transcribing section, the two-image forming apparatus being controlled so that a plurality of sheets are transferred concurrently in an overall sheet-transferring path when performing two-side image forming operation, the overall sheet-transferring path including the first sheet-transferring path and the second sheet-transferring path. With this arrangement, it is possible to attain a significant improvement in process efficiency.

摘要： A fine particle recovery device for recovering fine particles such as waste toner accumulating at a plurality of locations such as a photoreceptor and a transferring belt in an image forming apparatus. The fine particle recovery device possesses transport path, constituted by waste toner recovery pipes, which allows the waste toner from the plurality of locations to pass therethrough; a waste toner recovery container, attached to the exit of the transport path, which stores the waste toner in one lot; and auger axes, installed inside the transport path, which convey the waste toner toward the waste toner recovery container. Further, among transport distances from the respective locations to the waste toner recovery container, the transport distance from the location having the most waste toner to the waste toner recovery container is set to be the shortest.

摘要： The present invention provides a thermoelectric conversion element, a thermoelectric conversion element module, and a method of manufacturing the same that can easily realize high-density arrangement of thermoelectric conversion elements and securement of connection reliability. The thermoelectric conversion element has, for example, rod-shaped thermoelectric conversion material, tube that has an insulation property and an adiabatic property and houses thermoelectric conversion material, and electrodes that are in close adhesion to the end surfaces of thermoelectric conversion material and tube. A surface roughness Ra of the end surfaces is larger than 0.8 micrometers. In the present invention, the thermoelectric conversion elements can be arranged at a high density such that tubes are in close adhesion to each other. Also, since the close adhesion surface of electrodes on the end surfaces is large, the connection reliability of electrodes is further improved.

The polyester resin for a toner of the present invention is suitably used for a resin binder of a toner used in developing and the like of latent images formed in electrophotography, electrostatic recording method, electrostatic printing method or the like.
