    摘要: A plasma display panel driving system and method for a display panel having a first common electrode and first independent electrodes arranged at a back plate side, a second common electrode and second independent electrodes arranged at a face plate side, an inner partition positioned between the first common and independent electrodes at the back plate side and the second common and independent electrodes at the face plate side and having an aperture therein connecting a space at the back plate side and a space at the face plate side, and a fluorescent layer arranged in the space at the face plate side. The driving system and method includes a driver for driving the first and second independent and common electrodes through a full writing period, a front surface erasing period, a writing period, and a discharge sustaining period, including supplying a first full writing pulse to the first common electrode at the back plate side and a second full writing pulse having a polarity which is opposite to the polarity of the first full writing pulse to the first independent electrodes at the back plate side for causing discharge between the first common and independent electrodes in the full writing period.

    摘要: A partition member for a gas discharge display panel having a front substrate with at least one main discharge electrode spaced from a back substrate having at least one auxiliary discharge electrode so as to delimit a gap therebetween. The partition member is adapted to extend substantially parallel to and between the front and back substrates for forming a main discharge space on a front substrate side and an auxiliary discharge space on a back substrate side, the partition member being a metal material member.     摘要: A display device includes a first substrate having a display area with a plurality of pixels on a main surface and a first seal area formed at a periphery of the display area, and a second substrate disposed to cover the main surface of the first substrate, and having a second seal area at a part of the second substrate opposite to the first seal area. At least one driving circuit which drives the plurality of pixels is arranged outside of the display area on the first substrate. The second substrate has a recessed portion formed at a part of the main surface of the second substrate within the second seal area, and a moisture absorbent layer having a light shielding property adheres to the recessed portion and is arranged to cover the display area and the at least one driving circuit.
