    摘要: Information is configured in a tree structure comprising a root node, internal nodes, and leaf nodes, and an image is prepared for each node. Links to images of internal nodes are set in a root node image. When a display area satisfies a predetermined link condition the display target is switched from the root node image to an image of an internal node. A link to a leaf node image is set in each of the internal node images. Further, an order is defined for the leaf node images so that the images can be successively accessed. When the display is switched from a link area of an internal node image to a leaf node image and the display is to return to the internal node after images of leaf nodes are accessed, the image area of the internal node is displayed according to the number of images traversed.

    摘要: A fluorescent substance is provided having excellent temperature properties and capable of being excited by light in the region from near ultraviolet to short-wavelength visible light to emit light of yellow to red color. A process for producing the fluorescent substance, and a light emitting device using the fluorescent substance is also provided. The fluorescent substance includes M which is at least one group II element selected from Ca, Sr, and Ba, and Al, Si, O, and N, and activated with Eu. The fluorescent substance has an X-ray diffraction pattern using CuKα radiation, in which the intensity of the diffraction peak in the Bragg angle range of 17.9° to 18.5° is taken as 100%, the relative intensity of the diffraction peak is 150% to 310% in a Bragg angle range of 24.5° to 25.1°, and is 320% to 550% in a Bragg angle range of 34.8° to 35.4°.

    摘要: The invention provides a semiconductor memory device which can easily constitute a large-capacity memory system for a compact information terminal at low cost. The semiconductor memory device (RAM) which receives a command from a CPU to read and write data is connected to a storage flash memory for reading and writing data in predetermined access units. The RAM includes a flash interface circuit for generating a control signal required for data access to the flash memory in synchronism with the command from the CPU, and a pseudo-SRAM serving as a memory element which can be randomly accessed. The RAM reads/writes data from/to either the flash memory or the pseudo-SRAM in accordance with the commands from the CPU.

    摘要: A semiconductor memory unit has a card body (1) with conductive panels (2, 2') on its surface. Insulating layers (10, 10') are provided on the inside of the conductive panels (2, 2'). A circuit board (5) is provided in the card body (1). A battery contacting member (8) is located close to one of the insulating layers (10, 10'), and is connected with a circuit grounding terminal. A portion (10a) of the insulating layer (10), which is opposed to the battery contacting member (8), is formed to have lower electrostatic breakdown voltage than the other portions of the insulating layers (10, 10'). Thus, when a high voltage ESD noise is applied to the conductive panels (2, 2'), the noise is discharged to the ground through the portion (10a) of the insulating layer (10) and the battery contacting member, so that the memory unit can be free from the bad influence of the noise.
