摘要： A universal food holding cabinet has multiple compartments, the temperatures of which are under software control by microprocessors or microcontrollers located on power supply circuit boards for corresponding compartments. Each compartment can have different temperature control requirements with different requirements being met by different programs in different processors, or different operating parameters for the same program. The cabinet is configured to prevent the power supply boards from being installed incorrectly, to provide an address to a power supply circuit board when it is installed and by which a power supply circuit can be addressed by a master controller to receive downloads of executable instructions and/or data.

摘要： An evidence chain of custody system that is application-specific auditable and trackable secure smart mobile containers (SMC) for securely storing evidence items that are collected at crime scenes and search locations pursuant to subpoenas or warrants. Each SMC includes a electronics package that can read RF tags applied to evidence bags or totes placed in the SMC or for oversized items, associated with the event or scene, that are tagged with active RF tags. The electronics package also includes condition sensors and an RF transmitter module to permit remote reporting and monitoring of GPS/RSSI location and condition. The SMC includes an electronic lock that provides access security and an audit trail of all opening, closing, and other events.

摘要： Aspects of the present invention are generally directed to taking measurements in a hearing prosthesis. In an embodiment, a power circuit, which may be a switched mode power circuit, is shut down during performance of the measurements to reduce interference. Then, power capacitively stored by the power circuit is used to power the hearing prosthesis during performance of the measurements. In an embodiment, the power circuit increases its voltage just prior to performance of the measurements. This serves to increase the amount of energy capactively stored by the power circuit and thus extends the period of time during which the measurements may be taken while the power circuit is shut off

摘要： An over-voltage tolerant input stage in a semiconductor device is disclosed. The input stage includes: an input pad for receiving an input signal to the semiconductor device, a buffer coupled to the input pad for buffering the input signal, a pullup circuit for limiting current in the input signal, a switching circuit coupled to the input pad for controlling the pullup circuit, and a voltage supply coupled to the input pad, the pullup circuit and the switching circuit. In operation, the switching circuit is enabled to cause the pullup circuit to stop current flow between the input signal and voltage supply in the event of an over-voltage condition.
