摘要: An automatic transmission includes a first rotating element provided by coupling a sun gear of a second planetary gear set and a carrier of a third planetary gear set to each other, a second rotating element provided by coupling a carrier of the second planetary gear set and a ring gear of the third planetary gear set to each other, a third rotating element provided by a ring gear of the second planetary gear set, and a fourth rotating element provided by a sun gear of the third planetary gear set. The first rotating element and the second rotating element are coupled to a case by first and second brakes, the fourth and first rotating elements are coupled to a ring gear of a first planetary gear set via first and second clutches, the second and first rotating elements are coupled to an input shaft via third and fourth clutches, and the third rotating element is integrally coupled to an output gear, so that the automatic transmission can provide eight forward gear stages by changing a combination of two of the clutches and brakes which are engaged to each other.

摘要: An automatic transmission of a motor vehicle includes a first rotating element provided by coupling sun gears of a first planetary gear set and a second planetary gear set to each other, a second rotating element provided by coupling carriers of the first and second planetary gear sets to each other, a third rotating element provided by a ring gear of the first planetary gear set, and a fourth rotating element provided by a ring gear of the second planetary gear set. The first rotating element is selectively fixed to a transmission case by a first brake or coupled to an input shaft by a first clutch, and the second rotating element is selectively fixed to the case by a second brake or coupled to the input shaft by a second clutch. The fourth rotating element is coupled integrally to a ring gear of a third planetary gear set, and the third rotating element is coupled integrally to an output gear. With this arrangement, the automatic transmission establishes a selected one of the first-speed through sixth-speed gear stages and a reverse gear stage.

The auxiliary hydraulic pressure supply system does not supply the predetermined hydraulic servo with the other hydraulic pressure, in the case that the hydraulic pressure supply system is placed in a second unsupplied state where the hydraulic pressure supply system does not supply the hydraulic servo of the predetermined friction engagement element with hydraulic pressure.

摘要: An indicator 19 having LEDs 20 is mounted on a panel 5 which is provided at the center of a steering handle 6 for monitoring the winkers. The indicator 19 indicates the battery charge amount with the lit up LEDs 20 and also the right or left turn of the vehicle when a winker switch 14 is turned on for indicating the corresponding steering direction. For right turns, the LEDs 20 are lit up incrementally in a sequence from the left to the right. As the LEDs 20 all have been lit up, they are temporarily turned off and their action in the incremental sequence is then repeated. For left turns, the LEDs 20 are lit up incrementally in order from the right. As the LEDs 20 all have been lit up, they are temporarily turned off and their incremental action from the right is then repeated.
