    摘要: The decentering optical system comprises a decentering prism and a holding component. The decentering prism has two or more positioning portions at positions which sandwich an effective diameter of an optically functional surface held by the holding component. The holding component has a holding portion of positioning portions corresponding to the positioning portions of the decentering prism. Furthermore, on the optically functional surface of the decentering prism, two and more projected portions are arranged at a position which sandwich the effective diameter of the optically functional surface and is located at the outside of the positioning portion, and a projected portion is located inside of the positioning portion. The decentering prism is fixed for positioning at the holding component through the positioning portion, the holding portion of the positioning portion and the projected portions.

    摘要: The present invention relates to an image display apparatus, e.g. a head-mounted image display apparatus, in which an image from a single image display device is led to two eyes without using a half-mirror, thereby allowing observation of a bright image. The image display apparatus has an optical path distributing mirror 1 for distributing the image of a single display device 10 to an optical path for a right eye and an optical path for a left eye, and an ocular prism 2R for the right eye and an ocular prism 2L for the left eye, which are placed on the right- and left-hand sides, respectively, of the optical path distributing mirror 1. In the optical path for the right eye, display light from the display device 3 is reflected by a reflecting surface 1R of the optical path distributing mirror 1 and passes through a first surface 21R of the decentered prism member 2R to enter the prism, in which the light is totally reflected by a second surface 22R, which serves also as a fourth surface 24R, and back-reflected by a third surface 23R to exit from the prism through the fourth surface 24R. The light is led to an exit pupil 4R for the right eye to project an enlarged image of the display device 3 into the right eye. The same is true in the optical path for the left eye.

    摘要: A machine tool having movable axes driven by linear motors has a brake unit disposed in parallel with each linear motor. When the linear motors are not excited, the brake units are turned on to lock the movable axes. When the linear motors are excited, if a machining signal is off, indicating that machining is not in progress, and no manual command is issued, the brake units are likewise turned on to lock the movable axes. The brake units have a certain amount of play so that even when locked, a movable axis can move by a certain amount to enable the linear motor, if excited, to halt in a stable position, avoiding overcurrent flow.

The position of the wire electrode when a sampling value (low level) is detected for the first time is designated as a position B, and the wire electrode is advanced from this position by a predetermined distance P1, and is stopped at a position C. Retreat of the wire electrode is started from the position C, and a position Q where the sampling value has changed from the high level to the low level is stored as a contact/noncontact boundary position. Further, retreat of the wire electrode is continued, and the wire electrode is stopped at a predetermined separating position D, to thereby finish the processing.

    摘要: There is provided a seat back frame in which the same frame can be used for both of single reclining and double reclining, and the deformation of side frame can be controlled against a backward load. The seat back frame is composed of bilaterally symmetrical side frames, an upper pipe welded to both upper end portions of the side frames, and a lower pipe welded to the lower portions of the side frames. The side frames have a wider-in-front shape such that the width is greater on the front side than on the rear side. On the face of the side frame, triangular planes are provided so as to be vertically adjacent to each other, and the common side of the adjacent triangles is bent.
