摘要: A stacking-type, multi-flow, heat exchanger includes heat transfer tubes and fins, which are stacked alternately, an end plate disposed at an outermost position of the stacked heat transfer tubes and fins in a stacking direction, and inlet and outlet pipes connected to the end plate. The heat exchanger includes a pipe connection plate provided on the end plate, having a pipe insertion hole formed therethrough, into which at least one of the inlet and outlet pipes is inserted and which temporarily fixes an end portion of an inserted pipe in the pipe insertion hole. The pipe connection plate and the entire heat exchanger may be formed with a reduced size and weight, and the brazing quality between the plate and the pipe may be improved.

摘要: Disclosed is a molded member with a foamed body, which is foamed on the top surface sides of a first member and a second member and is prevented from leaking from between abutment surfaces of those members toward the back side. A seal piece of a required width extending in an eaves form outward over the perimeter of the outer contour edge of an airbag door is provided at the outer contour edge. When the airbag door is laid out at a door mount portion, so formed as to surround an opening formed in a base material, the seal piece is set in close contact with the outer surface of the door mount portion in such a way as to surround the opening. This prevents the foamed body, foamed on the top surface side of the base material facing the airbag door, from leaking from a clearance, produced between abutment surface of the base material and the airbag door, toward the back side.

摘要: In a heat exchanger (1) including first through M-th tube groups, each tube group comprising at least one exchanger tube (10), and a distribution device (3) which has a distribution tank (30) supplied with a medium and first through M-th distribution paths (31, 32, and 33) for directing the medium from the distribution tank to the first through the M-th tube groups, respectively, medium inlet ports of the first through the M-th distribution paths are coupled to first through M-th regions of the distribution tank that have first through M-th void ratios different to each other. Medium outlet ports of the first through the M-th distribution paths are coupled to the exchanger tubes of the first through the M-th tube groups, respectively. The number of the exchanger tubes of each of the first through the M-th tube groups and an inner cross-sectional area of each of the first through the M-th distribution paths are defined on the basis of the first through the M-th void ratios of the first through the M-th regions of the distribution tank so that a mass flow of the medium introduced into one of the exchanger tubes of the first through the M-th tube groups is substantially equal to the mass flow of the medium introduced into each of remaining ones of the exchanger tubes of the first through the M-th tube groups.

摘要: A heat exchanger includes upper and lower tanks, a plurality of parallel heat transfer tubes fluidly interconnected between the upper and lower tanks, a plurality of reinforcing members connecting an upper wall and a lower wall of the upper and lower tanks, and a communication path associated with each reinforcing member. The reinforcing members increase the strength of the tank walls against deformation due to the high pressure working fluid without increasing the thickness of the walls or increasing the spacing between the tubes. The communication path ensures efficient flow of a heat medium in the tanks.

摘要: A pipe joint structure includes a pipe with a collar projecting radially, and a flange having a pipe insertion hole formed through an end of the pipe and a flange recessed portion provided at a circumferential portion of the pipe insertion hole and formed to receive the collar. An inner diameter of the flange recessed portion is greater than an outer diameter of the collar, and the collar is plastically deformed in a radial direction to bring the collar into surface contact with an inner surface of the flange recessed portion. The pipe and the flange may be connected to each other securely, and the cost for the manufacture may be significantly reduced.
