    摘要: An association unit associates earthquake disaster information that a governmental agency, a municipality, or the like publishes with base station data including position information of base stations. A base station priority calculation unit, based on an association result by the association unit and the estimated number of users that are present in coverage of each of the base stations, assigns priority for recovery measures at the time of an earthquake disaster to the base stations, and causes a display unit to display the priority of the base stations thus calculated. Thus, it becomes possible to easily assign the priority of the base stations based on the earthquake disaster information that a governmental agency, a municipality, or the like publishes.

    摘要: Time required for location registration is reduced and concentration of location update signals caused when a group moves is prevented. Each mobile node and a mobile router sends a location update request to a local location manager near to the area in which it exists, so that time required for location registration can be reduced, and it is possible to prevent pressure on wireless resources and temporary increase in communication traffic within a mobile network, which may be caused by concentration of location update signals when a group moves as in the case of a train with a lot of passengers having mobile nodes. Thereby, even if location registration is not correctly performed by a mobile router, which sends a location update request on behalf of mobile nodes existing in the space of a moving body, due to the communication condition or a failure, it can be dealt with.

    摘要: A measurement-facilitating method of measuring the breakdown voltage of a semiconductor epitaxial wafer, and a semiconductor epitaxial wafer whose breakdown voltage is superior are realized. In a method of measuring the breakdown voltage of a semiconductor epitaxial wafer having to do with the present invention, the breakdown voltage between contacts 12, 12 is measured only through the Schottky contacts, without need for ohmic contacts. Inasmuch as the manufacturing process of forming ohmic contacts is accordingly omitted, the semiconductor epitaxial wafer 10 may be readily used in a breakdown-voltage measurement test. The measurement of the wafer 10 breakdown voltage thus may be readily carried out. Likewise, because the inter-contact breakdown voltage V2 of a wafer 10 can be measured prior to manufacturing a working device from it, unsuitable wafers 10 can be excluded before they are cycled through the working-device fabrication process. Reduction in losses can accordingly be counted upon, in contrast to conventional measuring methods, by which inter-contact breakdown voltage V2 is measured following fabrication of the working devices.

    摘要: An automatic document feeder is formed of a transfer device having a transfer belt situated above a platen to transfer a sheet on the platen, and a belt motor for actuating the transfer belt, a sheet detecting device situated near the transfer belt for detecting the sheet, and a feeding device located near the transfer belt at a side of the sheet detecting device. The feeding device feeds the sheet between the transfer belt and the platen. A controlling device is electrically connected to the sheet detecting device and the belt motor. The controlling device, while the belt motor for transferring the sheet on the platen is actuating, outputs a stop signal to stop the belt motor when a predetermined time has passed after the sheet detecting device detects the sheet so that the sheet is placed on a predetermined position on the platen. The feeder further includes a compensating device connected to the controlling device. The compensating device assumes an amount of overrun of the belt motor from a time that the belt motor receives the stop signal to a time that the belt motor actually stops, and compensates a time that the stop signal is outputted from the controlling device based on the overrun amount. Thus, the sheet is stopped at the predetermined position.

    摘要: A paper feed apparatus for a printer, having a belt type paper feed mechanism and a feed wheel both mounted on a frame. The belt type paper feed mechanism is of a construction in which a driving sprocket and two driven sprockets are arranged so that the respective rotational axes are positioned at the angles of a triangle, and in these positions the three sprockets are rotatably supported by the frame, and an endless belt is entrained about those sprockets. The endless belt has feed pins erected in a row at predetermined intervals on its outer peripheral surface. The feed wheel is supported by the frame rotatably about a rotational axis parallel to that of the driving sprocket in a position close to the same sprocket, and it has feed pins radially erected in a circumferential row at predetermined intervals on its outer peripheral surface. The driving sprocket and the feed wheel are driven synchronously so that the outer peripheral surface speed of the endless belt and that of the feed wheel being equal to each other.
