摘要: An automatic analyzing apparatus and method transfers a sample to be examined to a sampling position, fractionally injects the sample into a reaction vessel by using sampling means, adds a reagent to the reaction vessel holding therein the sample fractionally injected to cause reaction, and measures absorbance of the reaction solution at predetermined time intervals using a photometer. A first check for checking whether an abnormality is present in the measurement result of each measurement item is made, followed by a second check for checking whether an abnormality is present on the basis of a change in the rate of absorbance measured after the reagent is added to the sample in the reaction vessel. Then, a third check computes correlation of measured absorbance data and checks whether an abnormality is present on the basis of the result of computation. Finally, a determination is made, with respect to the sample in accordance with an abnormal item when it is judged that an abnormality is present in the result of the first, second or third check, whether remeasurement is necessary, and for selecting, in case of remeasurement, either remeasurement under the same conditions or remeasurement with a reduced sample quantity as compared with that of the first measurement conditions. When remeasurement is determined, the sample is carried to the sampling position.

摘要: A special cleaner is located between a sample cup at the sample absorbing position and a reaction case at the sample delivery position. This cleaner has a V-shaped recess, in which the cleaning liquid is filled in a pile. A pipetting tube is inserted into the sample cup, and a serum sample of the amount corresponding to a plurality of analysis items is absorbed and held by the pipetting tube. The pipetting tube hoisted upward is carried to the sample delivery position. In the process, the pipetting tube passes through cleaning liquid, so that the outer wall of the pipetting tube is cleaned within a short time, thus removing the excessive serum attached to the outer wall. The pipetting tube is lowered into the reaction case associated with the first analysis item to deliver a predetermined amount of serum sample thereinto. The pipetting tube is raised again and the train of reaction cases advances one step so that the tube is inserted into the next reaction case. After the delivery for a plurality of items, the inner and outer walls of the pipetting tube are cleaned.

摘要: There is provided a technique for automatically determining or predicting a line range specific to a sample that appears in a reaction curve in an automated analyzer for mixing a specimen and a reagent and measuring a change in a mixture of the specimen and the reagent with time. This invention approximates reaction curve data by a function and automatically determines a curve part at an early stage or a second stage of a reaction. The invention determines a line range not including a curve part for each sample and calculates a laboratory test value using absorbance data within the determined line range. This invention also automatically determines a start time of line at the early stage of the reaction on the basis of absorbance data obtained up to a point halfway through the reaction curve, predicts a line range on the basis of the end time of line and a planned end time of line, and calculates a predictive value on the basis of a result of the prediction.

摘要: A blood coagulation analyzer that realizes both securement of a wide dynamic range and enhancement of sensitivity in blood coagulation analysis by selecting an appropriate angle of detection depending on the intensity of scattered light from each specimen without causing complexity of the analyzer. The analyzer has a reaction container. A storage unit is provided which takes in and stores multiple pieces of chronological light intensity variation data acquired from detectors arranged around a reaction container. A judgment unit selects light intensity variation data to be used for calculation of a blood coagulation time from the multiple pieces of light intensity variation data stored in the storage unit based on the amount of light intensity variation. A calculation unit calculates the blood coagulation time from the light intensity variation data selected by the judgment unit.

摘要: To be adapted to various types of latex reagents for detecting scattered light and thereby measuring agglutination reactions with high sensitivity while sufficiently ensuring integration time. To be adapted to various types of latex particles of different particle sizes, a plurality of light receivers are arranged in a plane perpendicular to the direction of cell movement by rotation of a cell disk. To ensure sufficient integration time, the angle between the optical axis of the irradiation light and each of a plurality of optical axes of scattered light viewed from above the cell is made equal to or less than 17.7° including a mounting error.

摘要: An automatic analysis apparatus capable of testing a plurality of items with high accuracy and at low cost without increasing the size of the apparatus is provided. An automatic analysis apparatus 1 having test mechanisms for a plurality of items including a photometric mechanism 70 and flow analysis mechanisms 40a and 40b is provided with a common disk (disk for reaction and pretreatment) 20. In the common disk 20, fixed containers 21 fixed to the common disk 20 and detachably-provided disposable containers 22 are disposed. Therefore, while achieving the downsizing of the apparatus, the containers to be used can be selected in accordance with the test items in such a manner that the fixed containers 21 are used as high-accuracy containers to be cleaned and reused and the disposable containers 22 are used as low-cost disposable containers.

摘要: In the event of a suspected abnormality in the device, sample or reagent, a laboratory technician had to examine the abnormal reaction process data item by item, and infer the cause of the abnormality, which took effort and time in some cases. Abnormality judgment is assisted using: indicator computation means that computes an indicator indicating a feature parameter of a given waveform by applying a pre-defined evaluation formula to time series data of photometric values; relative indicator computation means that computes a value indicating a relationship of the indicator of target data to the indicator computed in the past; and indicator display means that simultaneously displays a value computed by the indicator computation means and the value computed by the relative indicator computation means. According to the present method, which is a method for assisting judgment of abnormality wherein a feature parameter of a given absorbance change is computed, it can be made easier to find certain abnormalities, and it becomes possible to attain more efficient device maintenance and improved device reliability without the addition of any new parts.
