摘要: The present invention provides a cell-operating device comprising a laser light source and a microscope to observe cell sample fluorescently labeled and a camera to take the images of the cell sample that is observed with said microscope and a computer to capture the digital image data obtained by said camera and a group of mirrors comprising electronic control mirrors of which optical axis can be adjusted so that the laser light irradiated from said laser light source can be guided in to said microscope. The computer includes a binarization program for binarizing said digital image data by identifying whether each pixel of said digital image data captures a part of said cell sample according to the fluorescence luminance of each pixel. The computer has an identification program for identifying the boundaries between adjacent different values in the binarized digital image and joins the boundaries into an isolated closed curve, and a data processing program for processing said binarized digital data so that in all the area within said isolated closed curve a cell exists, and a calculation program to divide said binarized digital image data, after running said data processing program, into sections with a predefined size and identify the center of gravity coordinate of each section, and an adjustment program to adjust the optical axis of said electronic control mirrors so that said laser irradiates said center of gravity coordinate. Thus, the present invention is a cell-operating device that the laser light from said laser light source irradiates said center of gravity coordinate.

摘要: The present invention provides a method and an apparatus for selectively removing non-target cells from a mixed cell population of different types of cells to selectively separate target cells. Individual cells or cell groups of at least two cells from a mixed cell population of different types of cells are placed on a certain two-dimensional, coordinate system. Then a distinction is made among the individual cells or cells in the cell groups, based on the shape or size of the cells or by using a cell marker. Physical energy such as laser light is applied to the positions or regions occupied by non-target cells or cell groups including non-target cells in order to selectively kill the non-target cells or cause dysfunction of the non-target cells.

摘要: Provided are a method, system, and computer storage device for managing zone information for devices in a network. A zone group table includes entries for different pairs of zones, wherein each entry indicates whether access between a pair of the zones is permitted. An attribute zone table indicates whether devices in the zones are initiator, target and/or initiator/target. For a selected zone, indication is made of whether ports in the devices in the selected zone have an initiator, target and/or initiator/target attribute as indicated in the attribute zone table. A determination is made as to whether all the ports in the devices in the selected zone have the same attribute of initiator, target or initiator/target. If so, a division proposal is indicated for the selected zone proposing to separate devices in the selected zone into at least one new zone.

摘要: When a shortcut of a document is generated, a user is caused to set the number of times of access to the shortcut. A shortcut identifier for identifying the shortcut is generated. The shortcut identifier and the number of times of access are registered in a shortcut management table in association with each other. Thereafter, the generated shortcut identifier and a mail address as a destination of a mail are set in the shortcut. The mail attached with the shortcut is transmitted. When the mail address set in the shortcut attached to the received mail and a mail address of the user stored in a PC that receives the mail coincide with each other, access to the document linked to the shortcut is permitted. This enables to more appropriately adjust the access to the document than in the past without changing an access right of the document itself.

摘要: A cassette eject mechanism for a recording or reproducing apparatus can remove a cassette eject button from a housing and can reliably eject a tape cassette only when a tape cassette should be loaded or unloaded. A battery loading mechanism for an electronic equipment can make the loading of battery simple and reliable, and becomes easy to handle. The locking mechanism can be simplified in structure so that the number of assembly parts can considerably be reduced. Further, a mechanical chassis supporting mechanism in a recording apparatus is for use with an apparatus in which a mechanical chassis or cabinet can be reduced in thickness. According to this mechanical chassis supporting mechanism, it is possible to prevent an external stress from being applied to the mechanical chassis as a twisting deform force.
