摘要： A swimming pool comprises waterproof bottom and sidewall liners whose lower edges have a waterproof seal. A sidewall extends about, and adjacent, the bottom liner to support the sidewall liner. The sidewall includes a vertical corrugated wall portion whose U-shaped sections are deep enough to enable this wall portion to stand unsupported, and alternating connecting wall parts of these sections are wide enough to form a planar supporting contact for the sidewall liner. The upper and lower edges of the corrugated wall portion are held respectively in upper and lower channellike horizontally extending support members, and the lower support member has an inwardly extending ledge for supporting the bottom liner.

摘要： A boiler with a boiler casing carrying a heat exchange medium and a double wall bulkhead in the casing receiving the heat exchange medium therefrom and defining a combustion chamber. A fuel burner is arranged at the inlet of the combustion chamber and produces gases. A double wall bulkhead having a baffle wall portion opposite the inlet and two arcuate lateral wall portions extending from the baffle wall portion towards the inlet also receives the heat exchange medium from the casing and is positioned in the combustion chamber to define a baffle chamber reflecting and reversing the combustion gases to combustion gas conduits laterally adjacent the lateral arcuately shaped bulkhead wall portions. The baffle chamber and the lateral combustion gas conduits have the same height, and an exhaust flue receives the combustion gases from the conduits at the outlet of the combustion chamber.

Return flow of combustion gases takes place within the combustion chamber itself by means of one or more passageways formed in the walls of the combustion chamber. A plurality of gas flues are positioned alongside the passageways, and this face permits a ready transfer of gases from the passageways into the flues. Thus, the volume of the combustion chamber depends solely on the combustion of the fuels and a compact, efficient boiler results.

摘要： An apparatus for automatically dispensing disinfecting or germicidal tablets into a swimming pool or other body of water where the application of a disinfectant is required is disclosed. The apparatus consists of a casing having a rotary valve positioned therein and means to rotate the rotary valve on a timed program. A supply of tablets is provided adjacent the rotary valve and pressure is maintained on the tablet to maintain the tablets in contact with the valve. The valve is provided with a recess whereby one tablet is transported from the column of tablets to a dispensing duct in the casing with one tablet being dispensed into the pool during each rotation of the valve. Means may also be provided for indicating when the supply of tablets has been depleted.
