Abstract: A device may include a processor configured to collect first usage data from a first WI-FI router in a first customer premises equipment (CPE) network; collect second usage data from a second WI-FI router in a second CPE network; and determine that a collision avoidance plan between the first WI-FI router and the second WI-FI router is needed. The processor may be further configured to generate a first collision avoidance plan for the first WI-FI router and a second collision avoidance plan for the second WI-FI router based on the first usage data and the second usage data. The processor may be further configured to provide the first generated collision avoidance plan to the first WI-FI router and the second collision avoidance plan to the second WI-FI router.

Mobile profile download via null-authenticated communications session

Abstract: An improved cellular network architecture enables the provisioning of mobile profiles on devices lacking bootstrap profiles. A mobile device transmits an attach request that includes a pre-configured mobile country code (MCC) and mobile network code (MNC) uniquely associated with an emergency data session. The mobile device is then null-authenticated with a subscriber database, and an emergency data session is established, the emergency data session allowing traffic to a mobile profile manager. The mobile device can then download a mobile profile from the mobile profile using the emergency data session. Thus, a mobile device does not require a provisioning profile to download a full (or provisioning) mobile profile from a cellular network as in existing solutions.

Abstract: An orchestration device may receive a request to register available multi-access edge computing (MEC) resources to be shared with a network operator. For example, the available MEC resources may be provided by a provider operating a MEC host located in an edge region of a radio access network (RAN) associated with the network operator. The orchestration device may receive information related to a requested MEC session to support an application workload for a user equipment in communication with a base station located in the edge region of the RAN and assign at least a portion of the application workload to the MEC host based on a profile for the MEC host and a service level agreement specifying one or more performance requirements associated with the application workload. Accordingly, the orchestration device may cause the portion of the application workload to be transmitted to the MEC host.

Abstract: A provider receives a message from a user device requesting that the provider share user credentials associated with a user of the user device with a second provider when the user is attempting to enroll with or access goods or services associated with the second provider via an application on the user device. The message requests that the provider send the user credentials to the user device. The provider determines whether the user has been authenticated by the provider and whether a trust relationship exists between the provider and the second provider. The provider sends the user credentials to the user device when the user has been authenticated by the provider and when the trust relationship exists between the provider and the second provider. The user device forwards the user credentials to the second provider and the second provider authenticates the user based on the user credentials.
