    Abstract: A method, a device, and a non-transitory storage medium provide a false grant detection service. An end device may receive downlink control information when in a discontinuous reception active state. The downlink control information may include a new downlink transmission grant or a new uplink transmission grant. When downlink data pertaining to the new downlink transmission grant is unsuccessfully decoded, the end device may identify the new downlink transmission grant as a potential false grant and invoke a verification procedure. Depending on the result of the verification procedure, the end device may or may not start a discontinuous reception inactivity timer depending on whether the potential false grant is deemed a false grant or a valid grant. Similarly, the end device may invoke a verification procedure for a new uplink transmission grant. The detection of false grants may minimize the waste of power for the end device.

    Abstract: A mobile device, having a smart card within the mobile device, stores a Mobile Network Operator (MNO) profile for the mobile device in the smart card, where the MNO profile includes one or more network access credentials for accessing a wireless mobile network. The mobile device receives a customer request to delete the MNO profile, and sends, from the mobile device to a network node in the wireless mobile network, a request for profile deletion. The mobile device receives, responsive to the request from the network node, a deletion code; extracts, from the received deletion code, a deletion code signature and a public key of the network node. The mobile device validates the deletion code signature and the public key, and deletes, upon successful validation of the deletion code signature and the public key, the MNO profile from the smart card.

    Abstract: A serving gateway device (SGW) can cause establishment of a requested connection to a first PDN for a user device. The SGW can cause suspension of the connection to the first PDN and establishment of a requested connection to a second PDN for the user device based on a requested connection to a second PDN for a user device. The SGW can cause termination of the connection to the second PDN based on the respective end time associated with the second PDN, and cause restoration of the connection to the first PDN after the connection to the second PDN is terminated.
