    摘要： An actuating system for a head restraint of a vehicle seat is provided. The head restraint includes a part that can be shifted from a comfort position to a safety position, such as in the event of an accident. Limbs are expandable from an initial position as a consequence of pressure loading to bring about a lengthening which can be transmitted to force transmission means. The limbs are connected to one another and/or to fastening means by joints, each having a first and a second joint pin which can be inserted axially into holes to form the joints.

The latching plate is arranged on the holding element and, in a locked state of the inclination-adjustment mechanism, engages in a form-fitting and/or frictional manner in the toothed profile, which is arranged on the head restraint structure. The lower end of the head restraint structure is coupled pivotably to the holding element and, upon pivoting of the head restraint about the holding element; in a non-locked state of the inclination-adjustment mechanism, the form-fitting and/or frictional connection between the latching plate and the toothed profile is released and a relative movement is thereby brought about between the latching plate and the toothed profile.

The head restraint subsection is movable from a use position to a safety position, while the driving device is configured to move the head restraint subsection from the use position to the safety position. The driving device includes at least two components which are movable with respect to each other under the action of a first force. At least one component has an oblique surface which acts on the other component and is inclined in relation to a direction of the first force. Movement of the at least one component under the action of the first force transmits a second force on the other component in a direction different than the first force.
