    摘要: A multi-layer photonic network and nodes used therein are provided. The multi-layer photonic network comprises a packet network which performs switching and transfer in packet units, and a photonic network comprising optical transmission lines and photonic switches, and which accommodates the packet network. The multi-layer photonic network also has a two layer structure of optical wavelength links (O-LSPs) and packet links (E-LSPs). The O-LSPs are constituted by the optical transmission lines and comprise optical wavelength switching capability (LSC) which is capable of switching in optical wavelength units and packet switching capability (PSC) which is capable of switching in packet units at both their ends. The E-LSPs include the O-LSPs and PSCs at both their ends. Each node includes a section for automatically establishing an O-LSP according to an establishment request for an E-LSP while taking account of path information including path cost, resource consumption, and traffic quantity.

    摘要: A starting apparatus including an input member coupled to a motor; a damper mechanism having an input element, an elastic body and an output element; a lock-up clutch mechanism for performing lockup where the input member is coupled to an input shaft of a transmission via the damper mechanism and for canceling lockup, and a dynamic damper including an elastic body and a mass body engaged with the elastic body. The mass body of the dynamic damper is an elastic body support member that is supported rotatably around an axis of the starting apparatus and that supports the elastic body of the damper mechanism. With this arrangement, the dynamic damper is easily adjustable while reducing the overall size of the starting apparatus.

    摘要: A drill which includes a cylindrical main body and a shank contiguous to each other, and which is to be rotated about an axis of the cylindrical main body in a predetermined rotating direction, for enlarging a hole previously formed in a workpiece through a die-casting process. The cylindrical main body has flutes which are formed in the cylindrical mainbody and extend from an axially distal end portion of the cylindrical main body toward the shank, so as to provide cutting edges in the axially distal end portion of the cylindrical main body. The cutting edges cooperate with each other to define a point angle which is larger than 170° and is smaller than 180°. Each of the cutting edges is substantially straight or is curved to be convexed as seen in the direction perpendicular to the axis.

    摘要: A shift lever device includes a shift lever having a pivot shaft formed at a base end of the shift lever integrally and a base having an opening formed to allow the shift lever to be inserted into the base and a pair of bearing parts formed so as to lie on opposing sides of the opening. The pivot shaft extends along a direction intersecting with a longitudinal direction of the shift lever. Each of the bearing parts has a bearing hole formed in the bearing part to adjoin the opening, a guide groove formed in the bearing part to communicate with the bearing hole, for introducing the pivot shaft into the bearing hole and a bearing bush which is to be inserted between the pivot shaft and the bearing hole. The bearing bush has a latch hook provided to engage with an interior of the bearing hole. The bearing bush is fitted to the bearing hole on condition that the pivot shaft is being inserting into the bearing hole through the guide groove, so that the shift lever is rotatably supported by the base through the bearing bush.
