    摘要: An iteration method for computing a distribution of one or more properties within an object comprises defining a first mesh of the object, applying an excitation to the object, computing a response of the object to the applied excitation, obtaining a reference response of the object corresponding to the applied excitation, computing a distribution of one or more properties of the object, and updating at least a subset of the nodes of the first mesh to form an updated mesh of the object. The distribution of one or more properties of the object is computed using the computed response, the reference response, and the first mesh. The first mesh includes a plurality of nodes and elements. A connectivity relationship of the subset of the nodes in the updated mesh remains the same as in the first mesh.

    摘要: Embodiments of the invention disclose a system and a method for reducing inter-carrier interference (ICI) in a network, wherein the network uses orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM). The method generates, in a transmitter, a diversified signal, wherein a diversified signal includes diversified elements representing data elements, such that each data element is represented by a number of diversified elements, wherein the number equals a degree of diversity. The diversified signal is modified based on an orthogonal matrix producing a spread signal, wherein columns of the orthogonal matrix are formed by vectors, wherein the vectors are orthogonal or quasi-orthogonal to each others, and the spread signal is transmitted in the network.

The system includes a database that is configured to store cell set data corresponding to a group of cells of the anatomical structure. The cell set data includes a cell model that represents electrical activity of the group of cells. The cell model has a model parameter that relates to ion channels in the cells. The electrical activity represented by the cell model is at least partially based upon the model parameter. The system also includes a user interface that is configured to accept user inputs to change the model parameter and thereby change the electrical activity represented by the cell model to form a reconfigured cell model. The system also includes a display that is configured to display the user inputs and a processor that is configured to determine the electrical activity of the anatomical structure using the reconfigured cell model.

    摘要: An apparatus and method for calculating time offsets for imperceptible base stations, which include base stations that have limited or no communication with a mobile station are presented. Time offsets for the imperceptible base stations are computed using transmit time offset information for a plurality of base station pairs received from a non-carrier base station almanac. A time offset between the mobile device at a first location and a serving base station at a second location is also computed. The time offsets for the imperceptible base stations may then be computed using the received transmit time offsets of the plurality of base station pairs and the time offset between the mobile device and the serving base station. The non-carrier base station almanac is built using a mobile device that informs a non-carrier location server of observed time difference of arrival (OTDOA) assistance data it receives from a carrier's location server.

    摘要: An apparatus and method for building a base station almanac at a non-carrier location server is shown. A mobile device cooperates by informing the non-carrier location server of observed time difference of arrival (OTDOA) assistance data it receives. The non-carrier location server collects enough OTDOA assistance data through crowd souring or spoofing to generate an OTDOA library. The non-carrier location server using the OTDOA library to generate a base station almanac. Once created, non-carrier location server uses the base station almanac to provide assistance data to mobile devices without assistance from the carrier. Also, a mobile device may use the base station almanac to determine transmission timing between itself and neighboring and distant base stations.
