A method for satellite lock-on in an antenna system by channel selection is initiated by receiving a channel selection signal. The channel selection signal is flagged to retrieve satellite parameters corresponding to the selected channel from a pre-stored satellite channel table which provides a correlation among the channels, the bands and the satellite coordinates. Then, according to the retrieved satellite parameters, an antenna control signal and thus a drive signal are generated orderly to drive the antenna to direct at the satellite responsible to the selected channel.

The first bracket includes a first base, a first sidewall extending from the first base and having a second cam slot aligned with the first cam slot, and a second sidewall extending in parallel with the first sidewall from the first base. The first cam is adapted to attach the adjustment plate to an inner surface of the first sidewall. The first cam includes a first shaft protruding from the first sidewall through the first and second cam slots and rotatable with respect to the first sidewall, and a first disc coupled with the first shaft and adapted to fit within the first cam slot so that the adjustment plate is rotatable with respect to the first sidewall as the first shaft is rotated from the exterior of the first sidewall.

The technique features on a scan driving signal that initiates a space scan of the antenna system so as to obtain a scan data. According to peak values of the scan data, coordinates of a plurality of satellites in the space are realized and individually recorded. Then, after receiving a lock-on signal, the satellite coordinate of the satellite to be locked is retrieved so as to drive the antenna to point at the satellite to be locked.

The retaining ring consists of a C-shaped body and two clamping pieces extending from a slot of the C-shaped body to the outside. A plurality of projecting pieces is axially formed by a stamping process from the external side toward the internal side such that the C-shaped body is properly contracted to grip the positioning rod when the clamping pieces are tightened with bolts. Meanwhile, the projecting pieces create a biting structure that bites the positioning rod such that the positioning rod is firmly held by the retaining ring to prevent the retaining ring from rotation on the positioning rod. Moreover, the structure in accordance with the invention can withstand the inertia toque created by the strong wind force acting on the receiving dished plate. Meanwhile, the receiving dished plate won't be rotated so that an accurate direction of the receiving dished plate as well as an improved quality of receiving the satellite signals can be ensured.

The present invention discloses a satellite disc antenna and its structure for displaying an integrally formed trademark through hollow holes by a visual contrast effect. The antenna is formed by punching holes on a metal plate to constitute a holed plate with densely distributed hollow holes, while maintaining the disc surface of a desired trademark pattern free of holes, so that the integrally formed trademark pattern can be shown clearly on the disc surface by the visual contrast effect. The satellite disc antenna can be manufactured synchronously without requiring any printing or coating. The invention can reduce the influence of climate changes and prevent the trademark pattern from being peeled off easily. Further, the hollow holes can be used for reducing the wind resistance, enhancing the durability of the antenna and maintaining the reliability of receiving signals.

The connecting arm has a first end and a second end, wherein the first end is coupled with the rear surface of the antenna dish. The pole may extend transversely with respect to the connecting arm and may include a channel extending from one end to the other end of the pole. The at least one clamp may each include a base with an opening that allows the pole to pass through. The cover bracket may include a front cover to seal the second end of the connecting arm, and a first cover integral with the front cover that includes a first side and a second side. The first cover may support the pole over the connecting arm on the first side and engage with the connecting arm with the second side.
