Abstract:
A time counting assembly with a display for world time zones comprised of a power source, a second counter, a minute counter, an hour counter, and a time zone display for displaying a correct time over a faceplate. Stir the time zone adjustable ring with the hand to align a first landmark of a local time zone with a fixed point and then calibrate the time counting assembly in accordance with the local time, and then stir the time zone adjustable ring with the hand to align a second landmark of another locating time zone with the fixed point such that the inner gear ring moves the planetary idle gear set and the planetary base wheel to shift engagement of the engaging hooks in the ratchet holes, and the front hour wheel is rotated on the planetary base wheel with a planetary movement along the minute wheel set to cause rotation of a meshed hour wheel so as to turn a hour hand to the time in accordance with the time zone corresponding to the second landmark. The direct time zone adjustment design greatly reduces the thickness of the assembly so that the time counting assembly is usable in a watch or low-profile timer while maintaining world time zone display and adjustable functions, and providing a modularized design function for ultra-thin time recording device.

Abstract:
The present invention relates to a timer movement with a display for world time zones. While operating, by aligning the landmark of local time zone with a fixed point for calibrating the local time, then turning a time zone adjustable ring to the landmark of another time zone to be aligned with the fixed point, an inner gear ring of the time zone adjustable ring can drive a planetary idle gear, a planetary driven gear and a planetary base gear to rotate, and each elastic positioning ball is sequentially buckled and positioned along each positioning hole, and a first front hour wheel is enabled to perform planetary motion about a first minute wheel set on the planetary base gear, so as to rotate the first hour wheel meshed therewith for displacing a first hour hand to display the time of first location at the landmark of another time zone.
Abstract:
A clock movement with a display for world time zones comprises a power source, a second counter, a minute counter, an hour counter, and a time zone display. The time zone display further comprises an intermediate base, a time zone adjustable ring, and a dial plate. The intermediate base provides a planetary basic gear axially attached to the central of the bottom thereof to be passed through by a minute wheel set. The planetary basic gear at a lower side thereof connects with an axial stem provided a front hour wheel and a join ring at a lower periphery thereof. The join ring at a periphery thereof extends at least two circumferential elastic engaging hooks. The time zone adjustable ring provides an inner gear ring part to mesh with the planetary basic gear. An inner ratchet ring with a plurality of ratchet teeth at the top of the time zone adjustable ring for engaging with the two engaging hooks. The dial plate is inserted into the time zone adjustable ring and provides a planetary idle wheel set by the periphery thereof to mesh with the inner gear ring part and the planetary basic gear. Hence, the dial plate can display a correct time.
