    摘要: A method and a system to assist wireless telecom service providers to make strategic investment decisions in their wireless networks is provided. Geographical profitability information in a wireless network is determined to decide where to invest capital funds in order to increase the revenue and profit for wireless service providers. The profitability of a geographical area or a sector is calculated based on network Operation Measurements and subscriber CDR (Call Detail Record) data. The system prioritizes the geographical areas and sectors for capital investments based on the profitability of the areas and sites. Similar information may be determined to assist wireless service providers in developing a decommissioning strategy. Embodiments of the present invention may also be used to reduce network churn by understanding where dissatisfied subscribers experience poor service and where network investments need to be made to improve the services and reduce churn.

    摘要: Systems and methods to assist wireless telecom service providers to determine the optimal core network evolution plan in a network planning time period. Total cost of ownership of wireless core networks is generally modeled to include capital expenditure, customer acquisition and retention cost, network operational cost and staffing and engineering cost. The total cost of ownership model is used to determine the optimal core network evolution plan at different layers of the core networks, which are modeled as a number of abstract networks in mathematical terms. A core network evolution optimization algorithm determines the optimal number of core network configurations and when to deploy the configurations in the planning period in order to minimize the total cost of ownership. A multi-level serving area optimization algorithm determines an optimal core network configuration at a given point of time.

    摘要: A mechanism for synchronously varying pitch of a multi-blade rotor, such as rotors used in wind or hydraulic generator and helicopter is provided in the present invention. The sync-pitch-varying mechanism for the rotor mainly comprises a bearing a driver, a transmission, a linkage and a control unit, wherein the transmission includes a shaft coupling, a ballscrew, an intermediate cylinder, a driven shaft and a transition cylinder; the linkage includes a link hub, a guide support and multiple links; the control unit includes a speed sensor, a position sensor, a switch and a programmable controller; a rotatory driving force output by said driver through the shaft coupling is transmitted to the driven shaft through a screw-and-nut transmission between the ballscrew and the intermediate cylinder of the transmission so as to drive the driven shaft to move in a linear motion which is then transferred from the driven shaft to the link hub of the linkage through means of the transition cylinder; the controller is configured to enable the driven shaft to move reciprocally within a predefined range of length in order to move the link hub back and forth along the guide support in an axial direction thereof, and therefore multiple bearings for supporting the blades of the rotor are rotatably movable through the multiple links of the link hub. Advantageously, the mechanism of the invention has a simple and compact structure, low cost and high reliability, and the operation is easy to be controlled precisely.
