    摘要: An individual wheel suspension is disclosed for a non-steered wheel of a motor vehicle such as an automobile which undergoes a change in camber by spring travel. The individual wheel suspension comprises a trailing arm which is articulated in the direction transverse to the lengthwise axis of the vehicle by at least one wishbone and connected in the lengthwise direction of the vehicle to the vehicle body via a lengthwise arm with a swivel bearing having a swivel axis which lies essentially in the direction transverse to the lengthwise axis of the vehicle, and an auxiliary device which engages the lengthwise arm at a distance from the swivel axis and by means of which the lengthwise arm is pivoted in the direction transverse the lengthwise axis of the vehicle along the swivel axis as the wheel goes up and down. The wheel suspension is characterized in that the auxiliary device engages the lengthwise arm in the vicinity of the swivel bearing-in design position of the vehicle at a vertical distance from a swivel axis whereby the auxiliary device can influence the toe-in on the wheel as it goes up and down with low construction costs and small space requirements.

    摘要: An element, for example an element with a hollow body or a bolt element, in particular a nut element, for attachment to a plate-like component, has a ring-shaped recess or annular groove present at an end face of the element facing the component within a raised ring-shaped contact surface. At least one undercut is preferably provided in a side wall of the recess, and also features radial recesses and noses which extend into the ring recess providing security against rotation. A cylindrical punch section or pilot concentric to the central longitudinal axis of the element projects at the said end face within the ring-shaped recess and the outer boundary wall of the cylindrical punch section preferably has ring-shaped undercut. A material supply is formed at or adjacent to the free end face of the cylindrical punch section and is displaceable at least locally by means of a die button on insertion of the element into the ring-shaped recess in order to capture or clamp material of the component which has previously been deformed by the die button into the ring-shaped recess between itself and the base surface of the ring recess. In this way an improved security against rotation, an increased press-out resistance and an improved behavior against alternating loads in operation is achieved.

    摘要: A ceramic burner includes a fuel gas supply conduit having a gas delivery region opening into a mouth portion and a mixing and aspiration region communicating with the gas delivery region, and an air supply conduit having nozzles opening into the mixing and aspiration region of the fuel gas supply conduit. The mixing and aspiration region has an angular configuration including a first segment inclined with respect to the axis of a combustion chamber of an air heater within which the burner is positioned and a second segment inclined with respect to the first segment and in communication therewith at a position of directional change. The gas delivery region extends coaxially with respect to the combustion chamber. The nozzles of the air supply conduit include first and second sets of nozzles, the first set of nozzles being directed toward an opposite wall of the first segment of the mixing and aspiration region adjacent the position of directional change, and the second set of nozzles being directed toward the mouth portion. The gas delivery region has extending thereinto, at positions adjacent the mouth portion, a plurality of projections.

The method is characterized in that the screw which is screwed into the hollow attachment element penetrates the sheet metal part and forms or reforms a thread in the sheet metal part.     摘要: A shut-off valve, particularly for use in a pipeline for conveying gases, includes a valve casing, a valve member mounted for movement between a valve open position and a valve closed position, and a casing seal mounted on at least one of the valve casing and the valve member for forming a seal with a sealing surface at least when the valve member is in the valve closed position. The casing seal includes a frame member having two legs extending in a direction toward the position of the sealing surface when the seal is formed. The two legs are spaced and define therebetween an open channel. The casing seal further includes a seal member formed from a substantially flat elastic strip which is deformed to include two leg portions which are positioned between and freely and elastically urged toward respective inner surfaces of the legs of the frame member and a bent portion which connects the two leg portions and which projects outwardly of the channel for sealing contact with the sealing surface.
