摘要： A transparency to be reproduced is positioned in register with copy material having respective sensitivity maxima in the blue, green and red wavelength ranges of the spectrum. An illuminating unit for exposing the copy material includes an array of cells such as an LCD. The density of each cell can be varied individually to thereby change the illumination intensity, and the densities are adjustable in such a manner that, in the spectral ranges corresponding to the neighborhoods of the sensitivity maxima, the density of each cell changes by approximately the same factor.

摘要： Light is passed through a negative located in a primary optical path and towards a band of copy material disposed in the path. A reflector is movable into the primary path so as to deflect the light into a secondary optical path. A mat, transparent plate is situated in the secondary path. The plate is situated in a plane which is a conjugate of the plane of the copy material with reference to the reflector when the latter is in the primary path. A sharp image of the negative is formed on the plate. Light passing through the plate is deflected into a tertiary optical path by a second reflector. The light entering the tertiary path is sensed by a video camera which then causes the image on the plate to be reproduced on a monitor for evaluation prior to copying.

摘要： A composite ice confection product comprises an open-ended wafer with an internal fat-based coating and filled with the ice confection, a continuous fat-based capping covers the open-end(s) of the wafer. In a preferred process for preparing the product the capping is formed, for example by applying it below its slip-melting point and in fluid condition, in such a way that it forms with the internal coating a substantially expermeable envelope around the ice confection. A suitable apparatus is described in which the fat-based confection for the capping can be maintained fluid by shear and optionally also by overpressure.

摘要： A process for separating metal chlorides from a suspension of metal chlorides in chlorosilanes, in which the suspension is filtered under pressure in the absence of air and moisture forming a filter cake, which is granulated and passed to a dissolution zone where the metal chlorides are dissolved to form an aqueous metal chloride solution. The invention also relates to a filtration and dissolution apparatus for this process, and to an apparatus for introducing the crude reaction gas into a circulated suspension of metal chlorides in chlorosilanes, thus producing a feedstock for the process.
