The composite dispersion is made from ingredients comprising: a first dispersion comprising a filler dispersed in a liquid continuous phase, the filler selected from the group consisting of nanotubes, graphene or a combination thereof, the liquid continuous phase comprising an acid copolymer and a first solvent, the acid copolymer comprising at least one carboxyl functionalized polymeric unit and at least one carboxylate ester functionalized polymeric unit having an alkyl or fluorinated alkyl attached to an oxygen atom of the carboxylate ester; a second dispersion comprising a fluoroplastic dispersed in a second solvent; and a sacrificial polymeric binder material.

    摘要: A method for forming a dispersion includes mixing graphene particles, a fluorosilane coupling agent and a first solvent to produce a first dispersion wherein the graphene particles are from about 0.1 to about 0.8 weight percent of the first dispersion. The method includes concentrating the first dispersion by removing the first solvent to produce a second dispersion wherein the graphene particles are from about 2.0 to about 10.0 weight percent of the concentrated dispersion. The concentrated dispersion is mixed with a fluoropolymer dispersion including a second solvent, a surfactant, and fluoropolymer particles wherein the fluoropolymer dispersion has a solids content of about 30 weight percent to about 50 weight percent to form a second dispersion. A polymer binder in a third solvent is mixed with the second dispersion to form the coating dispersion.

The powder coating composition includes a mixture of two or more materials having different densities, such as a mixture of aerogel particles and fluoropolymer-containing particles. The electrostatic gun can have a high-voltage generator that generates a negative polarity voltage between about 0 KV and about 100 KV during application of the powder coating composition, and the electrostatic gun can have a round spray nozzle. Methods of making fuser members using such powder coating methods, fuser members prepared by such methods, and methods of preparing low gloss images using such fuser members.
