    摘要: When radiography is performed on a patient at a radiography apparatus, first, a past collected radiation dose for the patient and a past collected radiation dose for a region of the patient on which radiography will be performed are extracted from a database.Judgment is made as to whether the collected radiation doses are greater than or equal to respective set threshold values. If it is judged that at least one of the collected radiation doses is greater than or equal to the set threshold values, the radiography apparatus outputs an alert for a radiographer. If it is judged that the collected radiation doses are less than or equal to the set threshold values, radiography is started by the radiography apparatus.

    摘要: A first leakage current value output from each signal line is stored in a storage unit, with a charge corresponding to an emitted radiation being held in a radiographic image detector, when the radiation is uniformly emitted to the radiographic image detector. A second leakage current value is acquired which is output from each signal line, with a charge corresponding to the radiation dose being held in the radiographic image detector, when the radiation passing through an object is emitted to the radiographic image detector. When the first and second leakage current values are equal to each other for each line corresponding to each signal line, all pixels on the line are determined to belong to a background area (lines A and C). When the second leakage current value is smaller than the first leakage current value and larger than a predetermined value, it is determined that there are the object areas and the background areas on the line (lines B, D, and E), and the total number of pixels in the background area on the line is calculated from the ratio of the first leakage current value to the second leakage current value. In this way, the distribution of the object area and the background area in the image which is held in the radiographic image detector when the radiation passing through the object is emitted is estimated before the reading of the image from the radiographic image detector is completed.

    摘要: Correction is performed on the pixel values of a plurality of defective pixels forming a defective area of an image representing a subject image. The defective area is an area corresponding to a defective portion of a detector. A plurality of weighted normal pixel values are obtained by weighting the pixel value of each of normal pixels adjacent to the periphery of the defective area for each pair of a correction-target defective pixel and each of the normal pixels using a weighting coefficient. The weighting coefficient becomes smaller as a distance between the defective pixel and the normal pixel becomes longer. Then, an average value of the plurality of weighted normal pixel values is calculated, and the pixel value of the correction-target defective pixel is corrected using the calculated average value. This process is performed on each of the defective pixels.
