摘要: A method of limiting I/O access of a client to prevent data in a client connected to the system from being leaked and stolen, the method further canceling the limitation under a predetermined condition even if the client can not communicate with a server is provided. The method comprising the steps of locking I/O access of the client, determining whether the client is connectable to the server via a network, unlocking I/O access of the client in response to a determination of the client being connectable, by authenticating the client by the server, and unlocking I/O access of the client in response to the client not being connectable, by connecting a portable authentication device to the client to authenticate the client by the portable authentication device.

摘要: A method for restricting a user's use of a file recorded on a client according to predetermined conditions, even if the use of the file has been authenticated previously in accordance with a policy, is provided. A method in accordance with an embodiment of the invention includes: a determination step of determining based on a policy recorded on the server whether a user of the client has a right to use the file; a recording step of changing a recording location of the file to a new recording location hidden from the user of the client and recording the file in the new recording location, in response to the determination that the user of the client has the right to use the file; and a deleting step of deleting the file from the new recording location in response to a disconnection of the client from the network.

摘要: An AC plasma display panel has a pair of panels disposed in spaced opposed relation, and each having a plurality of electrodes formed on an opposed surface thereof and mostly covered with a dielectric layer; and a sealing member which seals the periphery of the pair of panels. The electrodes each has a portion uncovered with the dielectric layer, and the sealing member is disposed in contact with the uncovered portions of the electrodes. With this arrangement, the discharge space can be kept gas-tightly sealed by the sealing member without communication with the outside of the display panel which may otherwise occur due to the presence of voids on opposite sides and surfaces of the electrodes.
