    摘要: A system is described for generating a rectified mosaic image from a plurality of individual images, the system comprising a quadrangular region defining module, a warping module and a mosaicing module. The quadrangular region defining module is configured to define in one individual image a quadrangular region in relation to two points on a vertical anchor in the one individual image and mappings of two points on a vertical anchor in at least one other individual image into the one individual image. The warping module is configured to warp the quadrangular region to a rectangular region. The mosaicing module configured to mosaic the quadrangular region to the mosaic image. The system further generates a mosaic from a plurality of panoramic images, the system comprising a motion determining module, a normalizing module, a strip selection module, and a mosaicing module. The motion determining module is configured to determine image motion between two panoramic images. The normalizing module is configured to normalize respective columns in the panoramic images in relation to the ratio of the image motion thereof to the image motion of a selected column, thereby to generate normalized panoramic images. The strip selection module is configured to select strips of the normalized panoramic images. The mosaicing module is configured to mosaic the selected strips together.

    摘要: While a large number of positive and negative electrodes are alternately arranged in an alignment on a same level in an electrolytic tank, a pair of magnets having the polarities thereof fixed in the same direction and which are disposed along the direction horizontally orthogonal to the arrangement of the electrodes of the same level, so that an electric field and a magnetic field will be generated on the horizontal directions orthogonal to each other and a force according to the Fleming's left-hand rule will be directed to the upward direction perpendicular to both the electric field and the magnetic field. The small bubbles adherent to the surface of the electrodes are enabled to be separated therefrom and allowed to float up owing to the addition of the upward force to their insufficient buoyancy.

    摘要: A new 1-N-(.omega.-aminoalkanesulfonyl) derivative of an aminoglycosidic antibiotic such as ribostamycin, 3'-deoxy- or 3',4'-dideoxy-ribostamycin, kanamycin A or B, and 3'-deoxy- or 3',4'-dideoxy-kanamycin B exhibits a broader, antibacterial spectrum than the parent aminoglycosidic antibiotic and is useful in the therapeutic treatment of infections caused by gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria including drug-resistant strains thereof. The aforesaid derivative may be made by reaction between the parent antibiotic and an amino-protected .omega.-aminoalkanesulfonic acid halide and removal of the amino-protecting group from the condensation product.

    摘要: There is provided an optical coherent tomography device capable of enlarging a measurement range by removing the affect of a folded image. The device includes an optical phase modulator (14) enabling operation amplifiers (17, 18) and a calculation control device (21) to measure a first intensity as a cosine function for the wave number and a second intensity as a sine function or inverse code function for the wave number from the intensity of the output light multiplexed by a third coupler (16). The calculation control device (21) is based on a first intensity set and a second intensity set of the output light by the optical phase modulator (14) measured by the operation amplifiers (17, 18) and the like, so as to suppress generation of a folded image and identify reflection or a backscattering position and a reflection intensity or a back scattering intensity of the measurement light for the irradiation direction of the measurement light in the measurement object.

    摘要: An image information compressing method for densely compressing image information, in particular, dynamic image information, a compressed image information recording medium for recording compressed image information, and a compressed image information reproducing apparatus capable of reproducing compressed image information at high speed in a short time are provided. Each image frame constituting a dynamic image information is divided into key frames and movement compensation frames. The key frame is divided into blocks so that an image pattern of each block is vector-quantized by using a algorithm of the Kohonen's self-organizing featured mapping. The movement compensation frame is processed such that a movement vector for each block is determined and a movement vector pattern constituting a large block is vector-quantized by using the algorithm of the Kohonen's self-organizing featured mapping. The compressed image information recording medium includes an index recording region for recording the representative vector number of each block and large blocks and a representative vector recording region for recording information corresponding to a code book. The compressed image information reproducing apparatus includes a data reading unit, a key frame restoring unit and a movement compensation frame restoring unit.

    摘要: 3'-Deoxy derivatives of neamine, 6'-N-alkylneamine, kanamycin B, 6'-N-alkylkanamycin B, ribostamycin, 6'-N-alkylribostamycin and paromamine may be produced by a new process comprising reducing the 3',4'-.alpha.-anhydro derivative (namely, the 3',4'-epoxide derivative) of the aminoglycosidic antibiotics with hydrogen in an alkaline lower alkanol medium containing an alkali metal hydroxide or alkoxide dissolved therein and in the presence of a reducing catalyst such as Raney nickel. The 3',4'-.alpha.-anhydro derivative may be prepared by treating the 3'-sulfonylated derivative of the amino-protected and hydroxyl-protected neamine, 6'-N-alkylneamine, kanamycin B, 6'-N-alkylkanamycin B, ribostamycin, 6'-N-alkylribostamycin or paromamine with an alkali metal hydroxide or alkoxide in a lower alkanol to effect epoxidation between the 4'-hydroxyl group and the carbon atom substituted by the 3'-sulfonic ester group.
