    摘要: A display substrate includes a thin film transistor layer, a color filter layer, a plurality of pixel electrodes, a first cover layer and an alignment layer. The thin film transistor layer includes a plurality of pixel regions. The color filter layer is formed on the thin film transistor layer. The pixel electrodes are formed on the color filter layer with at least one gap defined between adjacent pixel electrodes. The first cover layer is provided in the gap between adjacent pixel electrodes and covers a portion of the color filter layer exposed by the gap between the pixel electrodes. The alignment layer is formed on the pixel electrodes and the first cover layer. Therefore, the color filter layer is spaced apart from the alignment layer to decrease an afterimage, thereby improving an image display quality

    摘要: A display substrate includes a plurality of color filters, a gate line, an insulation layer, a data line and a plurality of pixel electrodes. The color filters are formed on a base substrate. The gate line is formed in a trench defined by at least one of the color filters and extended along a first direction. The insulation layer is formed on the color filters and the gate line. The data line is formed on the insulation layer to be extended along a second direction crossing the first direction. The pixel electrodes are formed on the base substrate having the data line formed thereon. Therefore, a metal wiring is formed in a trench defined by color filters, so that the resistance of the metal wiring may be decreased and an aperture ratio may be enhanced.

    摘要: The present invention relates to a liquid crystal display (LDC) and in particular, a method of manufacturing a mold to be used in LCDs. The method includes the following steps: forming a first photosensitive film on a substrate; etching the substrate by using the first photosensitive film as a mask to form a first groove; removing the first photosensitive film; forming a second photosensitive film covering the first groove on the substrate; and etching the substrate by using the second photosensitive film as a mask to form a second groove. The method, according to embodiments of the invention, helps reduce the time and/or cost of manufacturing a liquid crystal display.
