    摘要: A load balancing apparatus stores a transfer rule in which a path control identifier for identifying a path for a message sent from a client device is associated with relay device information for specifying a relay device that creates the path control identifier. When receiving a message from the client device, the load balancing apparatus determines whether the message contains the path control identifier. If the load balancing apparatus determines that the path control identifier is contained, the load balancing apparatus specifies, from the transfer rule, relay device information with which the path control identifier is associated and then sends the message to a relay device that is specified by the specified relay device information. In contrast, if the load balancing apparatus determines that the path control identifier is not contained, the load balancing apparatus sends the message to the relay device specified in accordance with a predetermined condition.

When a failure occurs in an LPAR generated on a physical computer under an SAN environment, configuration information including a unique ID (WWN) of the LPAR where the failure occurs is read, a destination LPAR is generated on another physical computer, and the read configuration information of the LPAR is set to the destination LPAR, thereby enabling migrating of the LPAR when the failure occurs, under the control of a management server.

    摘要: A recording medium drive includes a disc ejecting mechanism that ejects an optical disc disposed on a turntable to a slot. The disc ejecting mechanism is provided with a first disc feeding mechanism disposed on a rear side in a drive unit body and a second disc feeding mechanism (a disc guide mechanism) that is disposed on a slot side relative to the first disc feeding mechanism and continuously feeding the optical disc fed by the first disc feeding mechanism in a direction toward the slot. The optical disc having a small diameter can be transferred from the turntable to the slot by the first disc feeding mechanism and the second disc feeding mechanism which are respectively disposed on the rear side and a front side of the slot, thereby ejecting the optical disc to the outside.

The acknowledgment transmitting section transmits acknowledgment data to the second apparatus when the acknowledgment necessity table includes the first identification information identical to the second identification information.
