    摘要: A liquid crystal parallax barrier panel has the structure formed by stacking an electrode substrate, a liquid crystal layer and a sealing substrate in order. The electrode substrate includes a glass substrate, a first electrode which is branched in plural stages, a second electrode which is arranged on the same layer as the first electrode and is branched in plural stages, and an alignment film. Out of the first electrode and the second electrode, twig portions which include distal ends of branched portions of one electrode and twig portions which include distal ends of branched portions of another electrode are alternately arranged such that the twig portion which includes the distal end of the branched portion of one electrode enters between two twig portions which include the distal ends of branched portions of another electrode. In a state where slits are not formed in a parallax barrier, the first electrode and the second electrode have the same voltage, while the slits are formed in the parallax barrier when a predetermined voltage is applied to the first electrode.

    摘要: Herein disclosed are a liquid crystal display device and a data processing device, which can have their frame portions reduced in area to reduce the size and weight by extracting the terminals of video signals to only one side of a liquid crystal display panel and by arranging a video signal line driving circuit substrate to be connected with the terminals, only at one side of the display panel. A liquid crystal display device includes a liquid crystal display panel, a light guide plate, a fluorescent tube, and a lamp reflector. First and second lamp cables of different length are connected to the fluorescent tube. One end of the fluorescent tube is inserted in a hole of a first rubber bush and a part of the one end of the fluorescent tube is connected to the first lamp cable in the hole of the first rubber bush and an other end of the fluorescent tube is inserted in a hole of a second rubber bush and a part of the other end of the fluorescent tube is connected to the second lamp cable in the hole of the second rubber bush.

    摘要: A liquid crystal display device includes a liquid crystal display panel in which pixels are arranged in rows and columns. Each of the pixels includes a pixel electrode, and a thin-film transistor having a gate electrode and a drain electrode. Gate signal lines arranged in the rows are connected to the gate electrodes of the thin-film transistors. Drain signal lines arranged in the columns are connected to the drain electrodes of the thin-film transistors. The liquid crystal display device further includes a gate drive circuit for driving the gate signal lines, and a drain drive circuit for driving the drain signal lines. The drain drive circuit receives a plurality of grey-scale reference voltages from an external circuit, interpolates a plurality of intermediate voltages between each pair of adjacent ones of the grey-scale reference voltages, selects voltages from the grey-scale reference voltages and the intermediate voltages, and applies the selected voltages to the drain signal lines. V0 is a grey-scale reference voltage corresponding to a minimum grey-scale level, Vm is a grey-scale reference voltage corresponding to a maximum grey-scale level, and Vi is a grey-scale reference voltage that is nearest to a voltage level (Vm+V0)/2. A number of intermediate voltages interpolated between V(i−1) and Vi is different from both a number of intermediate voltages interpolated between V0 and V1, and a number of intermediate voltages interpolated between V(m−1) and Vm.
