摘要: In a vehicle air conditioner, two foot openings are provided in right and left wall portions of a case, and are opened and closed by two foot doors, respectively. Each door surface of the foot doors is moved along a surface of the right and left wall portions for opening and closing the foot openings. A face opening is provided in a top wall part of the case to be opened an closed by a face door. An operation locus of the foot doors is overlapped with that of the face door when being viewed from a direction perpendicular to the door surface of the foot door, while the face door is operated between the foot doors to have a clearance between the face door and each foot door.

摘要: An air conditioning apparatus for a vehicle has a first heat exchanger for cooling air, a second heat exchanger for heating air having passed through the first heat exchanger, a cool air adjusting door and a second air adjusting door in a case. The case defines a cool air passage downstream of the first heat exchanger to allow cool air to bypass the second heat exchanger. The cool air adjusting door is disposed to adjust the volume of cool air in the cool air passage. The case further defines an air mixing chamber directly downstream of the second heat exchanger. In a bi-level mode, the cool air is directed to the air mixing chamber by the cool air adjusting door. The case further defines a face opening and a foot opening at positions where air in the air mixing chamber can directly flow to the face opening and the foot opening in the bi-level mode.

摘要: A vehicle air conditioning system secures an appropriate temperature difference in the air blown through vertically arranged air ducts when the system is in a bi-level mode. A hot air inlet is disposed above a cool air inlet. A face opening is disposed at an upper location while foot openings are disposed at a lower location. A blow mode-changing door for opening and closing both the openings is a butterfly type door. The blow mode-changing door is pivotally disposed in a door housing. In the bi-level mode in which the blow mode-changing door opens both the foot openings and the face opening, a bi-level mode bypass passageway for introducing cool air from the cool air inlet into the face opening is defined between an extremity of the blow mode-changing door and the inner wall surface of the door-housing portion.

摘要: An air conditioning apparatus for a rear seat of a vehicle includes a centrifugal fan disposed at a downstream air side of an evaporator. The centrifugal fan is a backward curved fan having a plurality of blades each of which is curved backward relative to a rotation direction of the centrifugal fan. In the centrifugal fan, because a main component of velocity vector is in a radial direction of the centrifugal fan, a dynamical-pressure component of air blown from the centrifugal fan can be effectively changed to a hydrostatic-pressure component. Thus, during a cooler mode where air is simultaneously blown from first and second air outlets toward the rear space of the passenger compartment, a pressure of air blown from the first and second air outlets can be increased, and an amount of air blown toward the rear space of the passenger compartment can be sufficiently increased.

The air conditioning unit has a unit case defining a first passage and a second passage and a heat exchanger for heating air flowing in the first passage and the second passage. The heat exchanger has a first core section and a second core section in communication with each other. The first core section is upstream of the second core section with respect to a flow of an internal fluid flowing in the heat exchanger. The heat exchanger is disposed such that the first core section is located in the first passage and the second core section is located in the second passage. Further, the first duct is in communication with the first passage and the second duct is in communication with the second passage. The first duct has heat loss greater than that of the second duct.
