    摘要: An image forming system includes: a recording medium which has a roll shape and is manufactured so as to have both edges curling in a direction opposite to a roll surface of the recording medium; an image forming device which forms an image on the recording medium conveyed along a conveyance path; a recording medium feeder in which the recording medium having the roll shape is loaded in such a manner that the recording medium having the roll shape is conveyed while the roll surface of the recording medium faces the image forming device; a rear end cutter for cutting the recording medium having the roll shape on which the image forming device has formed an image on the roll surface at a position posterior to the formed image; a reverse conveyance path in which the recording medium, on the roll surface of which the image has been formed and which has been cut by the rear end cutter, is reversed in terms of front and back surfaces of the recording medium; and a decurl device for reversing a curl direction of the recording medium which has been reversed in terms of the front and back surfaces and is conveyed in the reverse conveyance path, wherein images are formed on the front and back surfaces of the recording medium by forming an image on the front surface of the recording medium having the roll shape, cutting the recording medium at the position posterior to the image, reversing the recording medium in terms of the front and back surfaces, reversing curl of the edges of the recording medium in an opposite direction by the decurl device, and then forming an image on the back surface of the recording medium.

    摘要: A inkjet recording method is provided in which occurrence of curling at the time of double-sided recording is prevented. In the method, an inkjet recording medium is used which includes resin coated paper having a resin layer A of thickness “a” at one side of base paper, and a resin layer B thinner than the thickness “a” by a thickness of 3 μm to 20 μm at the other side of the base paper, and ink receiving layers each of which includes an inorganic pigment and a binder and are provided at both sides of the resin coated paper; and an image is recorded on the ink receiving layer at the resin layer B side of the resin coated paper, and subsequently an image is recorded on the ink receiving layer at the resin layer A side of the resin coated paper.

    摘要: A photographic printer includes a transporting device body being stationary. A transporting roller sets transport a recording sheet along a transporting path disposed with the transporting device body. A lid is secured to the transporting device body, and movable between first and second positions. The lid, when in the first position, defines the transporting path in cooperation with the transporting device body, and when in the second position, is away from the transporting device body to form a space upstream along the transporting path. Furthermore, two rotational support arms secure a downstream edge of the lid to the transporting device body in a rotatable manner. The lid is openable upon a pivotal movement of its upstream edge. Each of the plural transporting roller sets includes a first roller secured to the lid. A nip roller is secured to the transporting device body.

    摘要: An image forming device has an image forming unit, a cutting unit, a conveyance path and an adjustment unit. The image forming unit sequentially forms images on a recording medium. The cutting unit cuts the recording medium between images. The conveyance path is provided with a change-curve portion that changes the conveyance direction of the recording medium and imparts curvature to the recording medium, and conveys the recording medium to the cutting unit. The adjustment unit temporarily interrupts conveyance of the recording medium at the change-curve portion and adjusts any difference between the processing speed of image forming by the image forming unit and the processing speed of cutting by the cutting unit.

    摘要: When a sensor detects a leading end of a recording sheet, a movable distributing mechanism distributes the recording sheet to a first distributing position. When a sensor 50a detects the leading end of the recording sheet, the mechanism switches conveyer rollers and to the releasing position and returns them to the center position. Next, responding to that a sensor detects a trailing end of the recording sheet, the conveyer rollers and are reset to the nipping position and accept a second recording sheet. When the sensor detects a leading end of the recording sheet, the movable distributing mechanism distributes the second recording sheet to a second distributing position, opposite to the first distributing position. Rearward recording sheets are distributed alternately to the first and second positions.

    摘要: There is provided a photographic printer for transporting a photosensitive material in a reverse direction thereby improving the processing performance without wasting the photosensitive material, and a photographic printer exposure method. During automatic loading of the photographic paper (54) from the paper magazine (64) and during the paper replenishment, the gear train (132) is interrupted by an electromagnetic clutch (134) so that the second pair of transporting rollers (34) are freely rotatable. The first pair of transporting rollers (32) feeds the photographic paper from the paper magazine towards the exposure sections (26) and (28) by the driving force of motor (112). The freely rotatable second pair of transporting rollers, disposed between the first pair of transporting rollers and the exposure sections and guide the photographic paper. When a reverse transporting operation for rewinding the photographic paper is needed, the clutch and the solenoid of the electromagnetic clutch are simultaneously switched over, so that the driving force of motor (112) is transmitted to the second pair of transporting rollers via the second gear (120) and the gear train (132). As a result, the second pair of transporting rollers are rotated by motor (112) while the roller (68A) is rotated by motor (142), so that the photographic paper is transported toward the first pair of transporting rollers (32).

    摘要: The improved image recording apparatus includes a light-sensitive material supply section having a loader of a magazine containing a roll of a light-sensitive material in a lightproof case and a withdrawing device for withdrawing the light-sensitive material from the magazine; a cutter for cutting the light-sensitive material into sheets; an image recording section which has a scanning transport device for transporting the cut sheets of light-sensitive material for scanning and an exposing device by which the light-sensitive material is exposed to recording light modulated in accordance with digital image data; a transport device which transports the light-sensitive material from the cutter to the scanning transport device and which transports the as-exposed light-sensitive material to a next step; and a back printing section which is provided midway along the path of transport of the light-sensitive material by the transport device to record a back print on the non-recording side of the light-sensitive material. Besides the reduction in the cost of print preparation due to the improved throughput of the processor, the distributing device of the invention offers the advantage of reducing the cost of the image recording apparatus to a lower level than has been achieved by using the conventional distributing device.

    摘要: In the improved method of distributing sheets of light-sensitive material for use in an image recording apparatus, the sheets of light-sensitive material are distributed in a lateral direction perpendicular to their transport through a developing machine to form a plurality of rows. The method uses two distributing units that lift the sheets of light-sensitive material and transport the sheets in the lateral direction. The two distributing units are alternately put into action to distribute the sheets of light-sensitive material into a plurality of rows. The improved distributing device comprises two lift units, a substrate having guide members, two paddle plates, a spring and a motor. Employing a short pathlength, the method is capable of distributing individual sheets of light-sensitive material into two or three rows, practically keeping pace with rapid print production (imagewise exposure) such as processing one print every two seconds. The device of the invention for implementing this method is small in size and features a simple and low-cost layout.
