    摘要： An inkjet head and a manufacturing method thereof are disclosed. A method of manufacturing an inkjet head, which is configured to eject ink through a nozzle using pressure provided to a pressure chamber, that includes: processing a board to form the pressure chamber and the nozzle; stacking a protective cover on a lower surface of the board, where a recess is formed in the protective cover in a portion corresponding to a position of the nozzle; coupling a piezoelectric component onto an upper surface of the board; and perforating the protective cover by removing the portion where the recess is formed, can be used to efficiently prevent the contamination of the nozzles, to improve the manufacturing yield of the inkjet head.

    摘要： A method of forming a circuit pattern is disclosed. The method of forming a circuit pattern may include providing a substrate that has a porous layer formed on one side, ejecting a thermosetting metal ink using an inkjet head into the porous layer in correspondence to a circuit pattern, and applying heat to the ink and the porous layer to cure the ink and remove the porous layer. With this method, a fine-line circuit pattern can be implemented, and a desired thickness of the circuit pattern can be obtained, by using a porous layer in printing and by applying heat to cure the ink and remove the coating layer.

The method for manufacturing an ink-jet head including a chamber containing an ink, a reservoir connected with the chamber and supplying the ink to the chamber, a restrictor connected with the chamber and the reservoir and controlling a flow of the ink, a nozzle connected with the chamber and jetting the ink, and a channel connecting the nozzle to the chamber, may include: forming the chamber, the reservoir, the restrictor and the channel by etching a portion of a substrate; covering the chamber; and bonding a nozzle plate, in which a nozzle is formed, to the substrate such that the channel is covered. Using this method, the various structures of the ink-jet head may be formed by etching a substrate, whereby the process may be simplified, and the yield and reliability of the products can be improved.

This method can be utilized to simplify the manufacturing process and prevent crosstalk between pressure chambers, thereby providing a higher printing quality.

The ink-jet head may include: an upper substrate, formed by processing a chamber in a silicon substrate; a middle substrate, bonded to the upper substrate and formed by processing an ink channel, which connects with the chamber, in a glass substrate; and a lower substrate, bonded to the middle substrate and formed by processing a nozzle, which connects with the ink channel, in a silicon substrate. With certain embodiments of the invention, a high level of precision may be obtained for the structures formed in the upper substrate and the lower substrate, and the middle substrate may be manufactured in low cost. Also, the substrates may be bonded together in a facilitated manner, so that production yield may be increased.
