摘要： The present invention relates to an inorganic antibacterial agent comprising a thermoplastic resin and inorganic antibacterial particles dispersed in the resin, and a shape factor SF2 defined by the following formula: SF2=100πL2/(4A) (Wherein L represents a perimeter of a plane image of a particle which is obtained from observation of a slice for inorganic antibacterial agent using a transmission electron microscope, and A represents the area of the plane image.) is not more than 200, and the existing ratio defined by the following formula: Existing ratio (%)=100×(number of inorganic antibacterial particles having SF2 of not more than 200)/(number of particles used for calculation of SF2) is not less than 80%. According to the present invention, when the inorganic antibacterial agent is dispersed in the antibacterial molded resin product, the dispersion of inorganic antibacterial agent is improved since inorganic antibacterial particles are dispersed in the thermoplastic resin. Moreover, inorganic antibacterial particles are dispersed homogeneously in the base resin since the occurrence of agglomeration and localization are well prevented in the thermoplastic resin.

摘要： Anti-bacterial composite particles which comprise a polymer base material comprising a thermal melting polymer, such as a polyolefine, exhibiting good dispersibility in a basic material resin and having a lower molecular weight or a lower softening point than that of the basic material resin, and inorganic fine particles comprising a metal having anti-bacterial activity carried thereon. An antibacterial resin composition can be prepared by melting and kneading a synthetic resin composition as the basic material resin together with the anti-bacterial composite particles and forming by known molding methods such as extrusion molding and injection molding, and can be used for producing various synthetic resin moldings which have an inorganic anti-bacterial agent uniformly dispersed in a synthetic resin composition and thus exhibits good anti-bacterial effect.

摘要： An electrophotographic image forming method includes a charging step, an exposure step, a developing step and a transfer step in the rotation of an electrostatic latent image bearing member, in which a process speed of the electrostatic latent image bearing member is 200 to 500 mm/sec, an outer diameter of the electrostatic latent image bearing member is 15 to 35 mm, an outer diameter of a developer bearing member is 10 to 25 mm, and a magnetic single component developer of which the residual magnetization in a measured magnetic field of 796 kA/m is 0.5 to 5.0 Am2/kg is used as the developer. The electrophotographic image forming method can provide a good image quality without causing scattering of toner in downsizing, weight reduction of an electrophotographic apparatus and speed-up of an electrophotographic process.

摘要： A one-component developer comprising an external additive, and toner particles containing a binder resin and a colorant, wherein the external additive contains a titanium compound obtained by the reaction of TiO(OH).sub.2 and a silane compound, and an image forming method using the one-component developer are disclosed. The one-component developer and the image forming method provide excellent flow and a narrow charge distribution, can reduce fluctuation of the charge property due to the environmental change, and can thus form a high-quality image without fogging and the damage to a latent image retainer by filming can be prevented.

摘要： The present invention provides a mono-component developer comprising toner particles containing a binding resin, a colorant and an additive and a method of forming images by use thereof. In the present invention said additive is preferably a titanium compound prepared by through the reaction between TiO(OH).sub.2 and a silane compound or through the reaction between TiO(OH).sub.2 and a silicone oil. The specific gravity of the said titanium compound is in the range of 2.8 to 3.6. The average particle diameter thereof is in the range of 10 to 70 nm. The said toner particle is preferably a non-magnetic particle. By making use of the mono-component developer and the method for forming an image using it, charging of the toner, and carriage of the toner can be stabilized over a long period of time, and stable image formation can be obtained.

摘要： The toner for developing an electrostatic charge image comprises a colorant, a binding resin and a resin copolymer of aliphatic hydrocarbon and aromatic hydrocarbon having 9 or more of carbon atoms. Preferably, the toner further comprises a wax. The endothermic peak of the wax at DSC is preferably from 70 to 100.degree. C. The petroleum resin copolymer preferably has a ring and ball softening point of from 80 to 170.degree. C., and the binding resin is preferably a polyester resin. The weight ratio of the aromatic hydrocarbon monomer and the aliphatic hydrocarbon monomer of the petroleum resin copolymer is preferably from 99:1 to 50:50.
