    摘要: A projection type image display unit has a housing on which a light source and an image display part for transmission or reflection of light from the light source are mounted. The unit includes a position adjusting device, by which a displayed position of an image is adjusted. The position adjusting device comprises: a manipulation member being vertically movable with a part thereof projecting from a side of the housing; a leg member projecting from a bottom of the housing and adapted to freely vary an amount of the projection thereof; and a connecting member connecting the manipulation member with the leg member to set the amount of the projection of the leg member by manipulating the manipulation member in a vertical direction. The connecting member comprises a lever member so that a movement direction of the manipulation member becomes the same as a movement direction of the housing and a movement amount of the manipulation member substantially becomes the same as a movement amount of the housing.

If the designated color is judged as being not a color within the gamut, then the designated color is mapped to converted colors within the gamut according to a plurality of gamut mapping processes. If the designated color is judged as being a color within the gamut, the designated color is set as a reference color. If the designated color is judged as being not a color within the gamut, then the selected one of the converted colors is set as the reference color.

    摘要: The present invention provides a beam measuring device which can measure a beam current value with high accuracy in a non-destructive manner and, at the same time, can measure a position of a beam.A measuring device includes a magnetic shielding part for shielding an outer magnetic field, and a plurality of magnetic field sensors which are arranged in a shielding space which is formed by the magnetic shielding part, wherein the magnetic field sensor includes a plurality of magnetic field collection mechanisms which collect magnetic fields which the beam current to be measured generates, and the magnetic field collection mechanism is a cylindrical structural body which has at least a surface thereof formed of a superconductive body and includes a bridge portion which has only a portion thereof formed of a superconductive body on an outer peripheral portion thereof, and a magnetic field which the beam current to be measured generates is measured by the magnetic field sensors. Due to the arrangement of the plurality of magnetic field sensors, a beam position and a beam current can be detected.

In cooling the light source, the electric power source and liquid crystal panels, a cooling wind path for the liquid crystal panels and the electric power source is made separate from and independent of a cooling wind path for the light source that generates much heat, a cooling air volume is optimized for the respective cooling wind paths, and noise accompanying the rotation of the cooling fans is reduced. Also, by arranging the cooling fans substantially centrally of the respective cooling wind paths, that volume of noise, which leaks from air intake ports and air exhaust port that are opened to a housing of a unit, is reduced.
