摘要： A process for making particles is provided. In embodiments, a suitable process includes adding a rheology modifier to an emulsion utilized to form toner particles. The rheology modifier permits the use of a higher solid content in the emulsion, with a resulting higher yield of toner particles, without requiring the use of powerful mixing equipment.

In embodiments, a suitable process includes adding a washing aid agent to toner particles at the time of washing the toner particles prior to their drying and recover. The washing aid agent assist in the removal of ionic species, including surfactants and ions that are part of the emulsion aggregation process, from the resulting toner particles. Utilization of the washing aid agent produces toner particles having improved charging characteristics.

摘要： An additive package is provided for use with toners. The additive package may be utilized with ultra low melt toners formed by emulsion aggregation processes. The additive package of the present disclosure provides toners with a low minimum fusing temperature to enable high speed printing. Toners possessing the additive package of the present disclosure also possess wide fusing latitude, good release, high gloss, high blocking temperature, robust particles, excellent triboelectric charge properties, and the like.
