    Abstract: Example methods and systems directed to an Alert Manager are described. According to various embodiments, the Alert Manager detects receipt of a message. The message includes a selectable functionality for accessing an external resource and message data indicative of a source of the message. The Alert Manager predicts when a recipient of the message will interact with the selectable functionality. Prior to the recipient's predicted interaction with the selectable functionality, the Alert Manager generates a message alert feature based on a degree of a difference between the external resource and the source of the message.

    Abstract: In various example embodiments, a system and method for reading magnetic information by a mobile device are presented. In example embodiments, the mobile device comprises a housing having an integrated surface for swiping a magnetic swipe card and a magnetometer positioned within the housing to produce digital magnetometer output signals. The digital magnetometer output signals represent magnetic information derived from the magnetic swipe card and from the Earth's magnetic fields (or other sources). In some aspects, the digital magnetometer output signals may be filtered to determine which of the signals are derived from the Earth's magnetic fields and which may be derived from other sources. In some aspects, the filtering is based on a range, with those signals falling within a particular range being determined to be derived from the Earth's magnetic field.

    Abstract: A method and a system are provided to re-create an internal shape of a shoe using a pneumatically-powered inflatable sock. For example, a shoe last used to manufacture a shoe product based on a selected shoe identifier may be identified. A description of the dimensions of the shoe last may be accessed. The description of the dimensions of the shoe last may be expressed as a set of fills per chamber of a sock having a plurality of fillable chambers. The set of fills per chamber may be determined based on the displacement of an inner wall of the sock when the fillable chambers are in an inflated state. Further, an instruction to cause the plurality of fillable chambers to inflate according to the accessed description may be transmitted.
