Abstract: This shift device is provided with a detent device, which is provided with an engaging member that is provided between a housing and a shift fork and that engages in a recessed part of the shift fork, and an elastic member that pushes the engaging member toward the recessed part of the shift fork, the engaging member being pushed into the recessed part of the shift fork by the urging force of the elastic member and the shift fork being held in a neutral position when a hub and a transmission gear are in an unengaged neutral position, and the engaging member being pushed into an inclined surface of the shift fork by the urging force of the elastic member and the shift fork being urged into an engaged position when the hub is in an engaged position of being engaged with the transmission gear.

Abstract: According to one embodiment, a transmission includes a first shaft, a first gear pair, a second gear pair, a synchronization mechanism, and a clutch mechanism. A first sleeve of the synchronization mechanism is movable along the axis of the first shaft between a pressing position, in which the first sleeve presses a second cone surface of a synchronizer ring against a first cone surface of a third gear of the second gear pair, and a non-pressing position in which the first sleeve does not press the second cone surface against the first cone surface. The clutch mechanism transmits rotation between the first shaft and a first gear of the first gear pair and transmits no rotation between the first shaft and the third gear. The clutch mechanism transmits rotation between the first shaft and the first gear while the first sleeve moves from the non-pressing position to the pressing position.

Abstract: The lubricating device for a transmission includes a first gear wheel at one of the front side and the rear side of a power transmission shaft, a second gear wheel at the other side of the power transmission shaft at a position different from the first gear wheel and an oil separator disposed below the first gear wheel and the second gear wheel extending in front-rear direction of the power transmission shaft and having an inner wall. The oil separator is provided with a descending sloped fluid passage which is provided on the inner wall of the oil separator so as to be sloped downward toward the one side of the power transmission shaft from the other side of the power transmission shaft receives lubricating oil scooped up by the second gear wheel and allows the lubricating oil to flow into a first gear wheel cover portion.

Abstract: The transmission includes a plurality of shift forks which includes a U-shaped main body, an engaging portion and a pair of supporting portions provided at both sides of the main body. When the engaging portion engages with the inner lever and the shift select shaft moves along in the axis line, the plurality of shift forks is rotated relative to the housing about the pair of supporting portions as a rotation center thereof and the sleeve connected to the pair of connecting portions is configured to be movable between the low speed side gear and the high speed side gear and the pair of supporting portions is provided at a point between a pair of reference fulcrums and the pair of connecting portions where a rotational moment of a connecting body formed by connecting the sleeve with the plurality of shift forks becomes zero at the pair of reference fulcrums.

Abstract: A power transmission control apparatus for a vehicle c has a plurality of fork shafts coupled with “sleeves engageable with free-rotating gears”, including first and second fork shafts. When both the first and second fork shafts are in neutral positions, the first and second fork shafts are not coupled in the axial direction so that, while one fork shaft is maintained in its neutral position, the other fork shaft is movable by an actuator from its neutral position to its meshing position. When the one fork shaft is in its neutral position and the other fork shaft is in its meshing position, the first and second fork shafts are coupled in the axial direction so that, when the one fork shaft is moved from its neutral position to its meshing position by the actuator, the other fork shaft is simultaneously moved from its meshing position to its neutral position.
