摘要: In one aspect, the disclosure relates to anodically coloring organic electrochromic materials as discrete chromophores. The chromophores are UV absorbing in the neutral state and upon oxidation form vibrantly absorbing, colored radical cation and dication species. In an aspect, the disclosed materials include UV absorbing discrete chromophores based on a 2-thiomethyl-dioxythiophene coupled to a triphenylamine or carbazole unit. In another aspect, consideration of steric effects and tuning substituent pattern can lead to new cation radicals that are highly saturated in the colored state and have increased color vibrancy. The chromophores and materials containing the same can be used in electrochromic color-to-clear switching devices including, but not limited to, windows, displays, signs, goggles, glasses, and the like.

摘要: Device, systems, techniques, and methods for mm-wave energy harvesting utilizing a Rotman-Lens-based rectenna system. An energy harvester system can include one or more antenna, a Rotman Lens having a beam port side and an antenna side in electrical communication with the one or more antenna, and a rectifier network in electrical communication with the beam port side of the Rotman Lens. The energy harvester system can also include a power combining network in electrical communication with the rectifier network and having an output. The rectifier network can include a plurality of rectifiers connected to the beam port side of the Rotman Lens. Further, each of the plurality of rectifiers can include a rectifying diode. The power combining network can include a plurality of bypass diodes.

An exemplary nanoparticle composition includes an ionizable lipid, a phospholipid, a PEG-lipid, and a cholesterol modified with a hydroxyl group near the D-sterol ring. The disclosed nanoparticle compositions can target liver Kupffer cells and endothelial cells more preferentially than hepatocytes which should be beneficial in treating liver diseases in which dysfunctional Kupffer cells and endothelial cells are involved in disease pathogenesis.

摘要: An exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure provides a soft-switching solid-state power transformer comprising a transformer, first and second auxiliary resonant circuits, first and second current-source inverter (CSI) bridges, and a first transformer capacitor. The first auxiliary resonant circuit can be coupled to a first winding connection of the transformer. The first auxiliary resonant circuit can comprise a resonant capacitor coupled across the first winding connection, and a resonant inductor coupled across the first winding connection in parallel with the resonant capacitor. The first CSI bridge can be coupled to the first auxiliary resonant circuit. The second auxiliary resonant circuit can be coupled to the second winding connection of the transformer. The second CSI bridge can be coupled to the second auxiliary resonant circuit. The first transformer capacitor can be coupled to a high voltage side of the first winding connection and a ground.

In some implementations, the pupil center corneal reflection method of an eye tracker is employed for gaze tracking. The example system can use a supervisory control and data acquisition architecture that can be universally applied to any screen-based HMI task.

摘要: An exemplary system and method are disclosed that employs a multi-bit D-band vector modulator phase shifter that couples to a transmission line-based delay input line structure for a phased array circuit. The exemplary system and method can generate differential quadrature signals that can be weighted by amplifiers and cascaded with a buffer amplifier to achieve wide bandwidth, moderate gain, and low power consumption. Tapered delay lines may be employed at the input for differential quadrature signal generation to achieve wider bandwidth than other vector modulator phase shifter at D-Band.
