    摘要: A process for detecting an alarm in an operating machine (1), so that an operator (7) is able to interact with such a machine (1) determining a connection between the machine and the ground, comprising the steps of: determining a current value of a main parameter representative of an electric interaction between said operator (7) and said operating machine (1) under a condition of normal operation of said machine (1); comparing said determined current value with a main reference value; activating an alarm procedure as a function of said comparison. The process further comprises a starting setting step wherein said main reference value is determined, said starting setting step comprising the steps of: detecting a first reference value of said main parameter under a condition of electric insulation between said operator (7) and operating machine (1); detecting a second reference value of said main parameter under a condition of electric conduction between said operator (7) and operating machine (1); said main reference value being determined in such a manner that it is an intermediate value between said first reference value and second reference value. The invention also describes a safety system (100) for carrying out the described process and an operating machine comprising such a safety system (100).

An optical fiber (12) connects said box (4) to the base of the device where it is connected to a receiving control circuit (121) located thereat. A manually operable reset pushbutton is mounted on said box to reset the conditions of the electronic circuit contained therein after each operation; and a pedal (23) is mounted on the base of the device and arranged to energize one or the other or neither of the circuits of the reversible electric motor (88) via a pair of relays (R1, R2), of which one is normally closed and the other is normally open.

    摘要: A safety control system for power operated equipment ensures operator safety by immediately disconnecting or reversing the power drive from a power driven rotating member such as a circular blade of a meat trimming knife or a toothed feed shaft of a meat skinning machine, upon a metal conductive glove worn by the operator, contacting the blade or toothed shaft or other electrically isolated portion of the equipment. The operator's glove is electrically connected to a safety switch which immediately disconnects or reverses the power drive from the rotating member upon the glove completing a circuit upon contact with the electrically isolated portion of the equipment. A moisture impervious dielectric plastic glove preferably is worn by the operator to prevent the moisture in the meat from conducting current between the metal glove and isolated machine portion until the plastic glove is cut and contact made with the metal glove. A switch requires manual actuation to connect the power drive to the rotatable member. The metal gloves are connected to the safety switch by electrodes secured to the operator's wrists in close proximity to the metal gloves. In a second embodiment the gloves are connected to the safety switch by a pair of metal electrodes mounted on the operator's garment adjacent the thigh areas which contact another pair of electrodes provided by a pair of pivotally mounted conductive arms which extend outwardly from the power operated equipment.

    摘要: This invention involves a novel blade holder for use in food-processing machines particularly skinning machines. This blade holder has as two major elements a top and a bottom piece having at their front terminal portions a place where the blade is clamped. In the center section of each piece are a number of connecting screws or bolts which not only connect the top and bottom pieces but also act as a fulcrum. Thus, when the rear sections of the top and bottom pieces are forced apart by a lever action, their front terminal portions move tightly together to form a firm grip or clamp effect on the blade. To remove the blade, the rear sections are brought closer together thus releasing the tight clamp in the front terminal portions and thus releasing the blade.
