摘要: Embodiments of the invention provide a guided surgical tool assembly with a guide tube including a sensor, a surgical instrument including a detectable feature moveable within the guide tube, and the sensor capable of detecting the detectable feature when the surgical instrument is inserted in the guide tube. Some embodiments include a sensor pad, a guide stop coupled to the surgical instrument, a plunger mechanism including a compressible spring mechanism coupled to the guide tube, and a wiper capable of being sensed by the sensor pad. Some embodiments include a guided surgical tool assembly system comprising a tool sensor system including a processor and at least one data input/output interface. Some embodiments include a medical robot system with a guided surgical tool assembly and including a robot coupled to an effectuator element configured for controlled movement and positioning along one or more of an x-axis, a y-axis, and a z-axis.

摘要: A camera tracking system is disclosed for computer assisted navigation during surgery. The camera tracking system is configured to identify a reference array tracked by a set of tracking cameras attached to an extended reality (XR) headset, and determine whether the reference array is registered as being paired with characteristics of one of a plurality of surgical tools defined in a surgical tool database. The camera tracking system is further configured to, based on the reference array being determined to not be registered and receiving user input, register the reference array to be paired with characteristics of one of the plurality of surgical tools selected based on the user input. The camera tracking system is further configured to provide a representation of the characteristics to a display device of the XR headset for display to the user.

摘要: An augmented reality surgical system includes a head mounted display (HMD) with a see-through display screen, a motion sensor, a camera, and computer equipment. The motion sensor outputs a head motion signal indicating measured movement of the HMD. The computer equipment computes the relative location and orientation of reference markers connected to the HMD and to the patient based on processing a video signal from the camera. The computer equipment generates a three dimensional anatomical model using patient data created by medical imaging equipment, and rotates and scales at least a portion of the three dimensional anatomical model based on the relative location and orientation of the reference markers, and further rotate at least a portion of the three dimensional anatomical model based on the head motion signal to track measured movement of the HMD. The rotated and scaled three dimensional anatomical model is displayed on the display screen.

Based on determining one of the fiducials of the set has a location that was not successfully registered to the 3D imaging space, the operations display at least one view of the 3D radiological representation with a graphical overlay indicating the fiducial has not been successfully registered to the 3D imaging space, receive user-supplied location information identifying where the fiducial is located in the 3D radiological representation, and register the location of the fiducial to the 3D imaging space based on the user-supplied location information.

The movable station includes a gantry mount rotatably attached to the gantry. The gantry includes an outer C-arm slidably mounted to and operable to slide relative to the gantry mount, an inner C-arm slidably coupled to the outer C-arm and, an imaging signal transmitter and sensor attached to the C-arms. The two C-arms work together to provide a full 360 degree rotation of the imaging signal transmitter. In embodiment, the imaging signal transmitter and imaging sensor are offset from a center axis of the medical imaging system such that the portable medical imaging system is operable to capture an enlarged field of view.
