摘要: A tamper evident feature for a container is provided. The tamper evident feature may include a locking tab connected to a wall panel or cover panel of the container and a receiving slot provided on the opposing cover panel or wall panel of the container. The locking tab may include an outer terminal edge and a slit extending laterally across the locking tab. The slit may provide a cut edge extending partially across an intermediate portion of the locking tab and allow for a tab end portion to bend relative to the remainder of the locking tab. The receiving slot may include a receiving slit defined into the cover panel of the container and configured to receive the locking tab. The receiving slit may provide a receiving edge that engages with the cut edge of the locking tab to secure the cover panel in a closed position.

摘要: A clamshell container with a hinged connection is provided. The clamshell container includes a base portion and a cover portion that rotates about a hinge axis relative to the base portion into a closed position. The base portion and cover portion each include a sidewall, a perimeter rim and a perimeter flange. The hinged connection is located along the base perimeter rim and flange and the cover perimeter rim and flange. The hinged connection includes one or more indented first structural elements formed into the cover perimeter flange and one ore more raised second structural elements extending from the base perimeter flange. The first and second structural elements are positionally aligned so that when the cover portion is rotated into the closed position, the second structural elements are received within the first structural elements. The structural elements increase rigidity of the hinged connection and limit potential deformation and fracture.

摘要: A container having enhanced wall integrity and a rotational element is provided that includes a sidewall having polygonal cross-sectional shape and an alignment structure formed therein. The alignment structure is adapted for orienting the container with respect to a second container such that the panel sections of the containers become parallel with one another and the containers may be fully nested one within the other. The alignment structure can be recessed into the sidewall to form peaks and valleys along an inner surface of the container. The peaks include first and second faces sloping in opposite directions designed to direct corners of the first container's sidewall toward the interior valleys of the second container in order to orient the containers as they are stacked.

摘要: A modular food and/or drink carrier is provided. The modular carrier can be formed from one or more modular components that are interconnected together. Each modular carrier includes a receiving portion for receiving food and/or drink items and an overlapping portion for connecting to another modular component. Each modular component includes a first locking means formed from a protrusion and slot and a second locking means formed from an accordion component and a receiving slot. The first and second locking means provided on a first modular component interlock together with the first and second locking means provided on a second modular component when the two modular components are connected together. Each modular component can include a buttress support means that engages a portion of another modular component to provide additional support to the modular carrier when the two modular components are connected together.

The lid may include an inwardly tapering wall to accommodate and overlay one of the outwardly tapering walls of the tray.
