In certain embodiments, the passageway comprises a fluid channel in the cylinder block. In some embodiments, at least one bearing is disposed in the swash plate chamber such that air entering through the inlet port flows over the bearing before flowing to the compression chamber.

    摘要： A brake actuator assembly includes a housing defining a spring chamber. A spring is disposed in the spring chamber, the spring being biased toward an extended position and movable against the bias toward a caged position. A release assembly is provided for selectively moving and retaining the spring against the bias toward the caged position, the release assembly comprising a hollow release bolt having a fluid passage passing therethrough by which fluid passage the spring chamber is in fluid communication with an environment surrounding the housing. A filter is disposed within the fluid passage in the hollow release bolt for filtering fluid passing through the fluid passage.

    摘要： A cooler for air in a pneumatic brake system which includes a thermostatically controlled bypass is provided. The cooler includes a chamber which has an air inlet, an air outlet and a cooler outlet. The cooler also includes an air delivery which is in fluid communication with the air outlet. A cooling passageway is in fluid communication with the cooler outlet and the air delivery. A valve mounted within the chamber is biased to a closed position placing the air inlet and air outlet in fluid communication and is movable against the bias toward an open position placing the air inlet in fluid communication with the cooler outlet. A thermostat is mounted within the chamber such that when air entering the air inlet is above a predetermined temperature the thermostat moves the valve against the bias toward the open position to direct air through the cooling passageway.

The modular valve unit includes a plurality of valve modules. Each of the plurality of valve modules includes a housing in which working elements of the valve module are contained and at least one port in the housing adapted to be an input port or an output port, the at least one port being adapted to cooperate with and be directly fluidly connected to at least one port of another of the plurality of valve modules, thereby obviating the need for tubing or piping. Each of the plurality of valve modules is self-contained and defines a stand-alone unit capable of operating independently of any other of the plurality of valve modules.
