摘要: In an optical unit of a projective display device which projects light source light reflected by a DMD, one prism of TIR prisms has a first boundary surface which is arranged in parallel to an emission surface of the light source light of other prism at a predetermined distance and on which the light source light from other prism is incident and a second boundary surface which is provided to face the DMD and emits the light source light illuminating the DMD and on which reflected light from the DMD is incident. When a swinging angle of minute mirrors of the DMD is set as ±θ, a refractive index of the prisms is set as n, an angle formed by the first boundary surface and the second boundary surface is set as β, and an emission angle of the light source light with respect to the DMD in the second boundary surface is set as α, the swinging angle θ, the refractive index n, the angle β, and the angle α satisfy a predetermined relation.

摘要: A light irradiation device to display an image by light irradiation prevents easy perception of distortion occurring in the displayed image due to vibration of the device or movement of viewpoint. A random number is generated, and the refresh rate of the displayed image is distributed at random in correspondence with the random number. The light emission intensity is changed in correspondence with the refresh rate. When the number of lines is changed, the input video signal is subjected to scaling and a display is produced. The refresh rate is changed in correspondence with the frequency of the vibration detected with the vibration monitor.

摘要: A laser projection display device includes: a laser light source drive unit; an attribute amount detection unit for detecting the attribute amount of a picture signal; a light sensor for measuring the light amounts of the laser light sources; and a temperature sensor for measuring the temperatures of the laser light sources. The laser projection display device is configured so that the current vs. light amount output characteristics of the laser light sources with a threshold current and current gain as a parameter are corrected in accordance with the load amount of the picture signal per frame if the change of the attribute amount exceeds a predefined amount; the light sources are driven at a predefined timing of the vertical blanking interval; controls the threshold currents and current gains in accordance with the light amounts; and the threshold currents and current gains are corrected on the basis of the measured temperatures.

摘要: A luminous flux including laser light of different wavelengths outgoing from a light source unit is split into two luminous fluxes, the first luminous flux is focused on a sample with an objective lens, and the second luminous flux functions as reference light without radiating it onto the sample. Signal light reflected from the sample and the reference light are multiplexed by a polarized beam splitter and are made to interfere on four photodetectors out of phase in a photodetection unit. A signal processing unit acquires the optical axis distribution of an object of examination in the sample by operating using the outputs of the plural photodetectors for input every wavelength, acquiring a detection signal and calculating the ratio of detection signals of different wavelengths every position in the sample.

The focusing coil is wound in parallel to the optical surface of the objective lens, and formed in a parallelogram shape having inclined portions provided near the tracking coils. The two tracking coils are placed on diagonal portions of the lens holder.

摘要: The amplitude deviation of a tracking error signal in an optical disk apparatus is reliably corrected by processing signals at low costs. A servo signal generator generates a tracking error signal and a lens error signal from a photodetected signal. A lens error deviation signal memory circuit stores the lens error signal generated at the servo signal generator, and reproduces the one-turn deviation of the lens error signal. A tracking error signal corrector learns an amplitude correcting value for the tracking error signal from the tracking error signal detected in reproducing the one-turn deviation of the lens error signal, and stores the amplitude correcting value in a correcting signal generator.

摘要: The present invention provides a unit and method for implementing an optical head and optical drive device whose configuration is simple, and which allows the generation of a track error signal in which no offset is caused to occur. The optical drive device includes a light source for emitting light beams, an objective lens for converging the light beams onto an optical disc, an optical-signal generation element for dividing the light beams into at least four regions by using a division line extending in the radial direction of the optical disc, and a division line extending in the track direction of the optical disc, the light beams being reflected by the optical disc, and an optical detector for receiving the light beams divided by the optical-signal generation element, wherein the up and down or right and left areas of the four regions are made different from each other.
