Abstract: Methods and apparatuses are described herein for Intra-UE Prioritization in uplink (UL) transmissions. In an example, an apparatus may receive first information indicating a first uplink grant associated with a first transmission and second information indicating a second uplink grant associated with a second transmission. The apparatus may determine, based on the first information and the second information, that the first transmission and the second transmission overlap at least partially in time. The apparatus may determine a first priority associated with the first transmission and a second priority associated with the second transmission. The apparatus may then cause, based at least in part on the first priority and the second priority, at least one of: prioritization of one transmission over another transmission, or preemption of the first transmission by the second transmission.

Abstract: A wireless transmit receive unit (WTRU) may be configured to transmit on a first interface and determine to transmit on a second interface. The WTRU may receive configuration information. For example, the configuration information may include a path switching capability indication, a path switching policy, and an information sharing method indication. Based on the configuration information, the WTRU may determine to perform a path switch. In response to determining to perform a path switch, the WTRU may retrieve certain information associated with a peer WTRU. The WTRU may transmit, based on the retrieved information, a path switch request to the peer WTRU. The WTRU may receive a response to the path switch request. If the response indicates that the path switch request has been accepted by the peer WTRU, the WTRU may perform a communication path switch from the first interface to a second interface.

Abstract: Systems, methods and instrumentalities are disclosed to enable time domain null-forming. An access point (AP) may be configured to send a channel training request to a station (STA). The AP may be configured to receive a channel training packet in response to the channel training request. The channel training packet may include a legacy long training field (LTF). The AP may estimate the channel. The channel estimation may be computed using the legacy LTF. The AP may compute a null-forming vector using the channel estimation. The AP may use the null-forming vector to precode the entire packet.

For example, in one method, a WTRU may determine that one or more data units correspond to a flow of such data units. The WTRU may perform such determination as a function of one or more matching rule(s). Flow-based processing may be enabled in the layer 2/layer 1 chain by per-packet determination using one or more rules, for example by routing through the applicable processing functions and/or using the applicable configuration and/or mapping to the applicable uplink physical layer functions and/or resources. One or more functions such as scheduling request, buffer status reporting, HARQ processing, and/or radio link failure and recovery may be controlled based on the policy associated with the flow corresponding to the data being processed.

Abstract: A wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) may send a discovery request to a first edge enabler server (EES) instance to obtain edge application server (EAS) information. The WTRU may receive a discovery response from the first EES instance. The discovery response may indicate a list of EAS information and/or registrar EES information for one or more EAS instances in the list of EAS information. The WTRU may select an EAS instance based on one or more of the list of EAS information or the registrar EES information for the one or more EAS instances. A second EES instance of the plurality of EES instances may be the registrar EES of the selected EAS instance.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for receiving a broadcast configuration indicating when a change in a RAN function termination occurs is provided, for example, by a timer value. The broadcast configuration may be received from a satellite, blimp or other moving transmitter. A dedicated configuration may also be received from the serving cell. The dedicated configuration may include a preamble, a transient configuration and an indication of a layer 2 behavior. If a WTRU detects a change in RAN function termination, the WTRU may suspend any uplink data transmissions, apply the transient configuration and transmit the preamble to a target cell. The WTRU may synchronize with the target cell and apply the layer 2 behavior.

Abstract: A radio device may receive network assistance information relating to uplink channel access procedures, such as channel access types and related listen-before-talk techniques, via layer one signaling or higher layer signaling. For example, information may be provided via DCI, MAC CE, or RRC messaging, e.g., received in a CORESET preceding the configured PRACH resources. Access procedures may be random access procedures, and may include indication via RAR messaging. Access procedures may be triggered by a radio access point message, such as a PDCCH order or a handover request.
