Abstract: A system is mounted on a vehicle and includes a sensor configured to perform a detection process that detects a fingerprint of a finger touching the sensor in order to perform a fingerprint authentication process, and a controller. The controller is configured to: (i) control a power supply of the vehicle to be ON when a predetermined authentication process through a predetermined communication with another device other than the sensor is successful, the predetermined authentication process being different from the fingerprint authentication process, and (ii) suppress the detection process that detects the fingerprint in response to the power supply of the vehicle being ON and the predetermined authentication process being successful.

Abstract: In a buckle device, a sewn part of a belt is wound around a spool. Here, the sewn part is disposed in an upper peripheral region and a left peripheral region of the spool. Abstract: At a sensor electrode of a steering wheel, a protruding portion protrudes from a main body portion. A first thread and a second thread each extend in the protruding portion and effect conduction between a terminal at the protruding portion and a main body portion. Therefore, even if there is no conduction between the first thread and the second thread at intersection portions between the first thread and second thread in the protruding portion, the first thread and the second thread may each effect conduction between the terminal and the main body portion, and a degradation of conduction performance of the sensor electrode may be suppressed.

Abstract: In an anchor device, a communication hole in which a webbing pass-through portion and a pin insertion portion communicate with each other is provided at a plate, a webbing passed through the webbing pass-through portion is coupled to the plate, and a mounting pin is inserted into the pin insertion portion. Here, a narrowing portion of the plate narrows the width of communication between the webbing pass-through portion and the pin insertion portion. For this reason, the mounting pin can be inhibited from contacting the webbing when the mounting pin is inserted into the pin insertion portion.
