    摘要: A primary controller applied to a primary side of a power converter includes a current compensation circuit and a compensation voltage generation circuit. The current compensation circuit is used for generating a compensation current to a sensing resistor of the primary side according to a direct voltage and an auxiliary voltage, wherein the auxiliary voltage corresponds to an output voltage of a secondary side of the power converter, and the compensation current changes a peak voltage of the primary side. The compensation voltage generation circuit is used for generating a compensation voltage according to a reference current, a discharge time of the secondary side, and a peak current, wherein the reference current is changed with the output voltage. The compensation current and the reference current are used for making an output current of the secondary side of the power converter not be changed with the output voltage.

    摘要: A power delivery controller applied to a power converter includes a voltage compensation circuit and a comparator. The voltage compensation circuit is used for generating a compensation reference voltage, receiving a response signal through a universal serial bus type-C cable, and generating a response voltage when an electronic device coupled to the universal serial bus type-C cable generates the response signal corresponding to a Biphase Mark Coding (BMC) signal, wherein the response voltage and the compensation reference voltage have information relative to an internal resistor of the universal serial bus type-C cable. The comparator is used for generating a comparison signal according to the response voltage and the compensation reference voltage, wherein the power converter transmits power to the electronic device according to a specification corresponding to universal serial bus power delivery (USB-PD) after the comparator generates the comparison signal.

    摘要: A controller for dimming light-emitting diodes includes a pulse width modulation pin, a low-pass filter, a frequency detection unit, and a control signal generation module. The low-pass filter generates a direct current signal according to a pulse width modulation signal generated by a micro-controller. The frequency detection unit generates a logic value according to a threshold and the pulse width modulation signal. The control signal generation module generates a switch control signal to a first switch connected to the light-emitting diodes in series according to the direct current signal, the logic value, a reference voltage, and the pulse width modulation signal. When a frequency of the pulse width modulation signal is lower than the threshold, the controller enters a digital dimming mode; and when the frequency of the pulse width modulation signal is higher than the threshold, the controller enters an analog dimming mode.

    摘要: A power supply has an inductor and determines loading state of the power supply according to a compensation signal. When the loading state is determined to be a light loading state or a no-loading state, a switch is operated at a low operating frequency. When the loading state is determined to be a heavy loading state, the switch is operated at a high operating frequency. If the compensation signal exceeds a critical value, it is determined that the loading state is an overloaded state. When the overloaded state continues past a tolerable duration, the switch is turned off. The tolerable duration is determined by an external capacitor and is independent of the operating frequency.

    摘要: In a switching mode power supply, a power controlling circuit includes a phase generator and a phase controller. The phase generator provides a clock signal. The phase controller detects phases of a phase reference signal and a burst initialization signal so as to generate a burst signal, and causes a phase of the burst signal to not be earlier than the phase of the group reference signal. The burst signal is utilized for switching the power supply between a non-switching state and a switching state. The group reference signal is generated according to the clock signal and has a lower frequency than the clock signal. The burst initialization signal is controlled by an output voltage source of the power supply.
