The present invention provides a hinge for a display device. A hinge for a display device according to the present invention, which connects and folds/unfolds first and second plates in a display device, includes: a soft plate member that is bendable while connecting first and second plates; a plurality of ribs formed at regular intervals at both sides of the soft plate member; a link means connecting the ribs and composed of first and second link and individually rotating with the bending of the soft plate member; and a fixing mechanism generating a fixing force by spring elasticity to control the rotation angle of the first and second links of the link means.

The present invention relates to a flexible hinge device having a cooperative operating structure, comprising: a first plate and a second plate each having a top surface to which a flexible display screen having flexibility is attached; and a hinge unit configured to interconnects the first plate and the second plate and configured to be operated in a foldable manner so as to be bent or stretched, wherein the hinge unit comprises a plurality of segmental members connected to one another to allow the hinge unit to be bent or stretched, the first plate and the second plate are respectively coupled to the outermost segmental members positioned at both ends of the plurality of segmental members.

A foldable display device is provided, which includes a first body and a second body formed in the same plate shape and symmetrically arranged, a hinge device coupled to the first body and the second body to make the first body and the second body rotate in the range between an unfolded state in which the first body and the second body are put on the same plane and a folded state in which the first body and the second body overlap each other, and an angle maintenance device provided with first and second stopper units capable of fixing a rotating angle of the hinge device to a certain angle. Accordingly, the inclination angle of the display device can be freely adjusted to form an acute angle or an obtuse angle in addition to two folding and unfolding operations of the hinge device and the adjusted angle can be temporarily maintained to further improve convenience in use.
