    摘要: A route guidance method includes: if, on a set route from a departure point to a destination of a vehicle, a travelling road at a present position of the vehicle has a first plurality of lanes, and a next road following a nearest branch point from the present position has a second plurality of lanes, finding a branch-merge point up to which lanes other than a lane for reaching the destination out of the second plurality of lanes have gone away; and if a start point of traffic congestion is downstream of the branch-merge point, and an end point of the traffic congestion is upstream of the nearest branch point, guiding the vehicle to the lane for reaching the destination as a target before reaching the end point.

    摘要: Automatic transmission having an input shaft and output shaft which may be disposed on the same side or opposite sides of the transmission. A planetary gearset has its ring gear, two coaxial sun gears and a planetary gear carrier respectively integral with the output shaft, a brake mechanism and a clutch mechanism the selective actuation of which determines the engagement of the suitable transmission ratio. An inner shaft portion and an outer shaft portion are coaxial and relatively rotatable. The inner shaft portion is integral with a hub of the first clutch mechanism and the first sun gear and the outer shaft portion is integral with a drum of the second clutch mechanism and the second sun gear. Means are provided for respectively affording in both types of transmission, a bearing between the input shaft and the end of the inner shaft portion opposed to the first sun gear end thereof, and an axial abutment for resiliently yieldable return means for the first clutch mechanism and an axial abutment for the two shaft portions.

    摘要: A first member of a magnetic housing has a core with a central passage and contains an electrical coil, and a second member of the housing has a ball cavity which receives and guides a magnetic ball. A central conduit and peripheral conduits enter the cavity of the second member. When the coil is activated, the magnetic field created thereby moves the ball into contact with the core to close the central passage in the first member, leaving the central and peripheral conduits in communication with each other. When the coil is deactivated, fluid pressure moves the ball to a position where it closes the central conduit so the central passage and the peripheral conduits will be in communication.

The visibility grid is used in determining whether other world objects exist on the second side of the occlusion. A second includes identifying a first trajectory of a first world object in the vehicle transportation network; identifying a visibility grid of the first world object; identifying, using the visibility grid, a second world object that is invisible to the first world object; and, in response to determining that the first world object is predicted to collide with the second world object, alerting at least one of the first world object or the second world object.
