摘要: The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a multilayer film comprising highly refined cellulose fibers, the method comprising the steps of: a) forming a first wet web by applying a first pulp suspension comprising highly refined cellulose fibers on a first wire; b) partially dewatering the first wet web to obtain a first partially dewatered web; c) forming a second wet web y applying a foamed second pulp suspension comprising highly refined cellulose fibers and a foaming agent on a second wire; d) partially dewatering the foamed second wet web to obtain a second partially dewatered web; e) joining the first and second partially dewatered web to obtain a multilayer web; and f) further dewatering, and optionally drying, the multilayer web to obtain a multilayer film comprising highly refined cellulose fibers.

摘要: The present invention is directed to a film or coating comprising a fiber material, wherein at least 60% by weight of said fiber material is microfibrillated cellulose, said film or coating also comprising at least 1% by weight of extractives from wood bark or cork wood. The invention is also directed to products, such as packaging materials, using or incorporating said film or coating. Such packaging materials are for example laminates or multi-layer structures. The films or coatings according to the present invention having advantageous barrier properties and are therefore particularly suitable for sensitive objects that need to be packaged in a controlled or modified atmosphere. The present invention is also directed to a composition comprising a fiber material, wherein at least 60% by weight of said fiber material is microfibrillated cellulose, said composition also comprising at least 1% by weight of extractives from wood bark or cork wood. The composition is useful for example in the preparation of the film or coating.

摘要: The present invention relates to a method of making a foamed cellulosic fiber-thermoplastic composite article. The method includes the steps of providing a copolymer composition, combining the copolymer composition and cellulosic fibers, applying heat, mixing energy and pressure to form a foamable mixture, and forming the foamable article in a molding or extruding operation. The method is characterized in that at least 10% of the cellulosic fibers have been thermally modified prior to being combined with the copolymer composition.
