摘要: The present invention relates to protein binding agents specifically binding the human cation-independent mannose-6-phosphate receptor (CI-M6PR), more specifically polypeptide agents comprising an immunoglobulin single variable domain (ISVD) specifically binding CI-M6PR at nano- to picomolar affinity, fused to further protein binding agents specifically binding extracellularly-accessible protein targets, such as membrane proteins, extracellular or secreted proteins. More specifically said CI-M6PR-specific ISVD recognizes CI-M6PR N-terminal domains 1, 2 and/or 3, thereby providing for means and methods for internalization, lysosomal targeting and degradation of agents comprising said ISVD, and of targets bound to said protein binding agents. The CI-M6PR binders disclosed herein are thus linked or fused to a further protein binding agent, in particular another antigen-binding protein, such as an ISVD or antibody, relevant for use in therapy, more specifically for treatment of diseases affected by said target antigen bound by said antigen-binding protein. More specifically disclosed herein are CI-M6PR ISVD fusions to antigen-binding proteins specifically binding EGFR, for treatment of cancer.

摘要: This disclosure relates to the field of research and clinical usage of extracellular vesicles. More in particular, this disclosure relates to usages of recombinant extracellular vesicles comprising a) a self-assembling protein that directs its own release through vesicles as a luminal membrane-bound protein and b) a heterologous marker. Indeed, the disclosure provides recombinant extracellular vesicles that can be used as a biological reference material in methods to quantify extracellular vesicles in a sample, and/or, that can be used to calibrate a device for sample extracellular vesicles analysis, and/or, that can be used to evaluate the isolation process of extracellular vesicles. This disclosure thus relates to improving the accuracy of an extracellular vesicle-based diagnosis.

摘要: A method is provided for designing an antenna comprising: i) determining dimensions of a fractional-mode, FM, air-filled, AF, antenna cavity, a FM-AF cavity, resonating around a target centre frequency characterized by a conductive ground cavity layer, a conductive top cavity layer, conductive cavity sidewalls between the top and ground cavity layer, and a side opening resulting from the fractional-mode; ii) adding a guard trace for shielding radiation from the side opening by adding sidewalls at a distance from the side opening; wherein the conductive top cavity layer is at least partially open over said distance thereby obtaining a radiating slot between the guard trace and the FM-AF cavity; wherein the FM-AF cavity and radiation slot forms an antenna cavity; iii) matching the impedance of the antenna cavity around the target centre frequency by adjusting the FM-AF and/or radiating slot dimensions within a maximum footprint.

摘要: According to an aspect of the present inventive concept there is provided a photonic integrated circuit, PIC, comprising a waveguide array. Each waveguide is configured to guide a light signal. All guided light signals originate from a common light beam or multiple mutually coherent light beams.
Each waveguide is associated with a mutually unique modulator, providing modulation, by a modulation signal, of phase and/or amplitude of the light signal, forming a modulated light signal. The modulation signals of all modulators have a common modulation period, such that the modulated light signal comprises a plurality of sideband frequencies representing different orders of frequency shifts based on harmonics of the modulation period.
A free propagation unit comprising inputs associated with the waveguides receives the modulated light signals. The modulated light signals propagate freely in two spatial dimensions through the free propagation unit and interfere to form output signals. Different outputs of the free propagation unit receive light with different peak frequency corresponding to different sideband frequencies.-
